Top 5 offenses in the AFC.......

As we all know, this is probably the longest offseason in the history of the NFL. So to pass some time, I would like to hear your OPNIONS on who you think the top 5 OFFENSES are in the AFC. Remember this is just based on opnions. Here is my top 5.

1. Colts
2. Ravens
3. Chargers
4. Steelers
5. Texans

Honorable mention.....
Patriots, Beagals, Titans.
 
I think the Fins should be better on offense than the Steelers or Ravens. I don't know about a better team but at least on offense.

I dont agree with you. With the Ravens signing Boldin and Stallworth, and having Smith back on the line, they should be a solid offensive team. It all depends on Flacco's consistancy though.

Then, there are some teams that have "potential." With the loss of Holmes, I don't see the Steelers being one of those teams. The Ravens and Dolphins immediately come to mind.
 
1 & 2 are pretty obvious to me with the colts and chargers. 3 through 5 is dependent on lots of stuff. 3 is the texans if they can run the ball. 4 is the pats if welker gets healthy - they've shown they don't have to run the ball. 5 is the ravens if anquan can stay healthy.
 
I think we're in contention for the 5th spot and - if Henne really develops - could be even better. Our WR situation went from being shaky to outstanding. Hartline - assuming he progresses the way I feel he will - is almost ideal as a #2. I think people forget how well he does down the field because he doesn't look that athletic, but he averaged 16.9 YPC, and he does the little things. Bess is one of the best pure slot WR's in the league, and Camarillo is solid and should be better and healthier this year. Our O-line should be top-3 in the league, and if our RB's can stay healthy, we're doing OK there.

and i'd probably put the phins in #6

yeah i could slot us in there at 6. its between us, the bengals, and titans for that spot IMO. the bengals never seem to get it right and who knows what's gonna happen with vince - so dolphins at 6 is about right.
 
I agree with the Colts and Chargers and the others mentioned being the top offensively rated teams. And also that lots of other teams have the potential to be good as well. The Dolphins are young and hungry and with a large offensive line. The running backs should have plenty of running room, and Chad will have plenty of time to throw. So if Miami isn't quite yet a top tier team offensively. I do believe they're on the verge of becoming one. A lot can change from season to season with just a few key additions.
