5-Brian Urlacher
4-ray lewis
3-jason taylor
2-shawn merriman(i would be afraid to line up against sum1 on roids aswell)
1-dwight freeney

taylor is better than freeney imo and shawn is a meat head he shouldnt be up there i understand hes good but i could be good in the nfl if i used performance enchancers..srry if this was already posted
 
Freeney doesn't belong in the top ten let alone the top five.All he does is get to the QB, unlike Taylor he doesn't help in run support at all. He takes himself out of more plays than he makes.

Merriman.....I can never ever take him serious because he is on steroids.
 
If were talking scary as in intimidating or crazy, how is Joey Porter not on this list? He was number one on Sports Illustrated's most intimidating defenders list last season if I remember correctly.
 
if I met them on the street, I would defintely put a roidhead, Ray Lewis, and Porter above JT...I'd probably put Pac-Man on the list above him....
 
they put an undersized, edge rusher at the top of their list??? don get me wrong, freeney is a quick de...but how do you not have julius peppers up there...

This list is flawed.

Urlacher- Yes
Lewis - maybe 5 years ago
Taylor- absolutely should be at least #2
Merriman- he is feared
Freeney- You got to be kidding me! This guy dissapears every other game!


Where is a Julius Peppers? come on!
 
freeney had 5.5 sacks last season, you call that intimidating? idk about these people when someone hasthe numbers jt had last year, i am $h1t1ng in my pants before the game.
 
This list is a JOKE !!!!!!!!!
Here is a real list ......

5- Al Wilson - This guy is a wrecker .. I know that he was injured last year but when playing he has a motor that goes 100 mph and 120 % ..

4- Shawn Merriman - I know, I know he is a roid monger .. but the guy is not called " lights out " because he is soft. The list is "scariest" and anyone with a brain would be scared of this guy.

3- Brian Urlacher - best playmaking LB in the NFL and hits like a Mac Truck

2- Jason Taylor - If you are not aware of where he is he will find you and take the ball to the endzone..smartest D-Lineman in NFL ..

1- Julius Peppers - Big, Fast, and Mean .. This guy is a freak of nature ..
 
Every LT is petrified of lining up against Dwight Freeney, he has humiliated so many players with that raw speed of his. I think he is deservedly #1 on this list.

No way.

He is the most overrated defensive player in the game.

Run a draw to his side of the field and you are almost guaranteed at least a 6 yard gain, because in the running game he is nowhere to be seen. Also near the end of 05 offensive lines figured him out. He truely only has one move pass rushing, and it is a spin to the inside. Once everyone figured out he was either going to run straight around or spin inside early he became easy to stop.

He is the definition one a one dimensional player.
 
That's a pretty accurate list except I would be more afraid of everyone on that list than Freeney. He should be #5!
