I still haven't gotten through WR/RB/QB completely but at this point my top 5 goes like this:
1) Eric Kendricks
2) Vic Beasley
3) Leonard Williams
4) Amari Cooper
5) Dante Fowler

Maybe i'll feel differently after I finish watching some more of these offensive guys. But right now I feel like these QBs are being overvalued. I appreciate the fact that you have Vic Beasley as high as you do. The love out there for Gregory and Ray is really surprising to me. Owamage Odighizuwa is what everyone thinks Gregory can become, so I don't understand why Gregory is pegged as a top 10 pick and Owa projected as a 2nd round guy....

Randy Gregory and Owamagbe Odighizuwa are nothing alike.

i just took it as a big list of names. just a list

This is his ranking list (big board) for prospects. Im just curious as to what he's considering because he had a big board out previously that ONLY considered talent and nothing medical/off field. That list had DGB very high and this list he's not on it at all.

So Armstead and Devin Smith on here but no Clive Walford....Wow!...Armstead is Horrible 2 sacks for a man that size is an Insult to all big men.

Why do you say that?

The reason that everyone is so stoked about Gregory's potential is his explosiveness (and length). Owa has just as (If not more)of an explosive first two steps than Gregory.

The difference is that Owa's explosiveness translates into power. Gregory lacks that.

How would you compare these two guys?

Gregory will make his money with quickness and elusiveness. Until he completes his events at his Pro Day, I have an incomplete grade on him, but he has shown that he's not explosive enough to get by on that. Dupree, Owa, Frank Clark, and Davis Tull are the edge players that showed enough explosion to like their chances based on that trait - with Beasley and Flowers just missing. But if Gregory shows to be an elite physical prospect, his best comp from this class will be Vic Beasley.

Frank Clark is off my board.... he is completely a poop head

Gregory has a rare combo of length, fluidness, play speed, and closing ability, along with a relentless playing style. He reminds me of Anthony Barr and that's exactly the type of role I would play him in. I've seen enough of him at the combine in LB drills to project him to a 4-3 SAM. And he is someone who can rush/blitz from anywhere. He also plays much stronger than he is given credit for. I've seen him set the edge and convert speed to power on numerous occasions. He's a really good football player and I don't care what combine says, no edge defender has playing speed like Randy Gregory.

Owa is really explosive on contact and has the best snap in his hands and hips of any edge defender in this class. But he's also very tight and lacks the fluidness and agility to win with speed rushes. He would be an early down LE for me. And someone you would give some snaps to as an interior rusher and see how he does there. I could see him as an edge setting 3-4 OLB like a Jarrett Johnson or Courtney Upshaw also.

I really don't think it matters. I used to get all jacked up for the combine but the only thing I care about is the size measurements and how they do in position drills.

Or if the Steelers head scout says "hold your off hand for 3 counts before you take off" about the 40 yard dash and a player messes it up both times going through, or messes up a drill routinely. I couldn't care less about the actual times.
