How bout that Saban??? We are 2-2 and have a top five D, also the O is to 15. Long season ahead and with Ricky coming back we could finish top ten in O. Wins and loses are the bottom line, but you didn't honestly think there wouldn't be any growing pains...did you?? I was so pissed the first half yesterday, but one thing is for sure Saban and staff know how to make adjustments. We may not make the playoffs but we are IMO the best "team" we have had in a very, very long time. This includes most of Marinos career.
Can you imagine what will happen next year when Saban and Randy have a bunch of cap space and a full compliment of DP?? Look out baby, we will be dominant.

The Bills could have had four bye weeks and wouldn't be top five!!

I know GW isn't much of a HC, but the guy made your D stellar....no more, even with Spikes your D is on the decline. Miami on the other hand is going to be stout for years to come. No disrespect Bro, it's just the way it is.
 
I would agree with you when speaking of the line, but our secondary is still killer and the defense is back to making turnovers.

7 INT's & 5 Fumble Recoveries so far this season. Not bad. One thing our team has going well this year is the turnover ratio. So far, the Bills are at +7, you guys are at -3.
 
We had more rushing and passing yards than the Bills (I believe we had over 100 more total yards) but still got beat....that shows you what 18 penalties and 5 turnovers will do for you. I think our D is getting it done, we just need a more consistent effort from our offense...our running game should get a nice boost with Ricky in there this week. Can't wait to see Ricky. :)

Carnell at half speed is still going to put the hurt on them.

You better hope our D doesn't put the hurt on Carnell taking him out for another game or two.

umm in YPG we're still in top 5... its not just total yards, its per game averages... not to mention we also give up the lowest yards per play...
 
wow you know what else is interesting there... our defense only has 23 penalties... which is 4th lowest in the league, that yes the bye comes into play, but if you average that over 5 games... its about 29 penalties which would have us tied for 7th in fewest defensive penalties... which means our offensive penalties must be one of the highest in the league...
