Here is what I think each teams is realistically wanting in order...

1.Oak...JaMarcus Russell, Calvin Johnson
2.Det...Joe Thomas, Gaines Adams, Brady Quinn
3.Cle....Adrain Peterson, JaMarcus Russell, Brady Quinn, Joe Thomas,
4.TB.....Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas, Amobi Okoye, Gaines Adams
5.Ari.....Joe Thomas, Gaines Adams, Levi Brown, Jamaal Anderson, Calvin Johnson
6.Was...Gaines Adams, Alan Branch, Amobi Okoye, Jamaal Anderson
7.Min....Gaines Adams, Brady Quinn, LaRon Landry, Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Anderson
8.Atl.....LaRon Landry, Amobi Okoye, Levi Brown, Calvin Johnson
9.Mia....Brady Quinn, Levi Brown, Amobi Okoye, LaRon Landry, Ted Ginn Jr, Leon Hall

Soooo....... If thats right and there is no trades, then the draft will go.....

1. JaMarcus Russell
2. Joe Thomas
3. Adrian Peterson
4. Calvin Johnson
5. Gaines Adams
6. Alan Branch
7. Brady Quinn
8. LaRon Landry
9. Levi Brown

So i think we will trade up with Washington fo rour #3 draft pick and take Brady Quinn.

I think your confusing Needs with Wants.

aside from the fan base, i have never, ever, seen one article or comment by either Cam or Mueller saying we want to take Levi Brown, or even an offensive lineman in the first round. Not once did they say this. In fact, Cameron has said he believes in drafting lineman later on in the draft. So why would he want Brown with the #9?

Also, it would cost us more then that to move up from #9 to #6

No, a 3rd sounds about right.

A 3rd is really close to what we would have to give according to the draft value chart. but i do think since we have two 2 rounders and washington only has 3 picks in the whole draft, that they will try to squeeze a 2nd rounder instead of a 3, but a third would match up the value chart.

If Quinn gets past Tampa Bay at the #4 spot, we need to get on the phone with the Redskins and trade them our 9th pick and 2nd second rounder to move up and get Quinn...I don't think a third rounder will cut it. :err:

I could live with giving up a#3 to move up, a 2nd rounder would kill me.

Rumor has it that the patriots are willing to trade the skins asante samuel and trade 1st rounders with the skins in order o get their #6 pick. Thats why i think it'll cost us a lot more in the end.

ya i know but i am willing to give up our late second. i would like to see samuel leave the pats though. but i think our offer would be better for the skins cuz they only have 3 picks this year

Since when do coaches and managers tell everyone who we are looking at and taking? I say the more we dont look at Levi Brown, the more likely we may end up with him (if others are gone at 9).

The skins have never built through the draft. they hardly even try it seems. They've only held onto their first round pick only a handful of times.

What they do is dumb, it's true. But they will trade away a first rounder for a proven player any day.

Your too used to the way Saban ran things. I dont think Cam and Mueller are all smoke and mirrors the way he was. I mean look, miami's clearly shown tha they want Quinn. If we're trying to show we didn't want quinn, we're doing a horrible job of it.

i agree 100%

what washington does is stupid but we have traded for draft value away for vets than they have.

WOW, because we will definitly say exactly what we plan to do, right....:sidelol::sidelol::sidelol: INCREDIBLE. By them talking like Levi isn't an option probably makes him the most likely scenario.

Not trying to be rude, were all on the same side, but EVERYONE is playing poker right now, EVERYONE.
