Everyone here bleeds teal and orange for the most part. Let's say you were the biggest Dol-Fan out there and you were talented enough to be drafted into the NFL. The problem is, you were selected by the Jets, Bills, or Patriots. Deep down, could u stomach playing against your all time favorite team twice a year? Forget the money, let's say you are already a multi-millionaire from family wealth. man, I don't know if I could do it. In fact, I don't know if I could play for the 31 other teams. I realize that you would be a member of a select fraternity. Hell, only approx. 1,696 players a year are part of that fraternity, but still. Your thoughts?

My first thought is you might wanna change that sig. :chuckle:

But yeah, it's be very tough playing for a rival team and against the team that I've followed for 21 years already.

it would be tough yea, but the oppurtunity live out a childhood dream is pricless.

Great point there. You get a chance to do what millions of kids dream of doing, but only a very small percentage end up living that dream.

You better believe I would, play my rookie contract out and get the hell out of there!

yeah i could do it, definitely.. i just hope i wouldn't be drafted by the jests:chuckle:

If I am already a multi-millionaire then no, I couldn't do it. Don't care a bit about the fraternity of NFL brotherhood.

If I'm already a multi-millionaire then I'm already a member of an elite group. Football is a dangerous game. I don't want to be broken and beaten at the ripe age of 40.

I'm going to pass.

Would be hard to stay motivated to the hard life when you got all that coin in the bank.

I'd try to land a small stake in Dolphin Ownership even if very small, or regularly contribute / donate money toward the Dolphin training facilities, upgrading the venue for fans.

This is the easiest question ever. Yes I would play for the Jets or Pats or Bills but when my rookie contract was up I'd sign with the Dolphins and give away all their info, like our AFC rivals usually do to us with people we let go.

And i would hope that I played for the Bills instead of the other two teams. Stuff rings, stuff championships, just one game in the NFL, for the bills, against the phins, the bills lose by 40 & I get cut and live of my millions after that.

Is that what you mean. Make it the AFC cham[pionship game too. I got signed from the practice squad the day before the afc game.

We are dreaming, right???

The team I played for would be my new favorite team lol.

Seriously let's change this up a bit. Let's say you're son gets drafted by the Jets, Pats or Bills who do you root for when he plays Miami twice a year?

Well considering u devoted all your time, energy and effort in high school and college to getting to this point and unless u want to compete and get appropriately under-compensated in a lesser league like the CFL, then yeah, if there's only one game in town, u go with whomever drafts you, play your best against everyone to justify a big FA payday from the fins in free agency. I've never been one who believed in biting your own nose to spite your face, ya know?

The chances of you being drafted by your favorite NFL team growing up aren't that great so I'm sure I wouldn't mind so long as I didn't expect to be drafted by the Phins.

i'd play for the Pats and drop a sure touchdown pass from Brady to insure a Dolphins win.

Then retire to my island to laugh about it the rest of my days.
