So we didn't go after anybody (wide receiver) before the trade deadline which isn't a surprise. In fact I think it is better that we didn't force someone and take away valuable draft picks. So out of complete curiosity where do you think our eventual #1 receiver comes from? I'm sure there will be a legit #1 receiver on the Dolphins roster at some time in the near future so where do you guys think we will get him?

The Teddy G Factory starts producing as if one thousand overworked 12 year old korean kids were on the assembly line.

I hope it's the first one. I would like nothing more than to see Ted Ginn succeed. I really think that we'll draft one next season.

Maybe the Trifecta never gets a #1.

the problem is though is that the really good wrs will be gone by the time we draft and my luck is that bryant would end up going to our arch enemies the jets.

i dont think this front office is all that serious about winning a superbowl because they settling for less just look at the steelers and pats.

We already have our #1. Ginn will silence the skeptics real soon.

? um, looking at our record we could easily be picking anywhere from 6-22.... if we are on the low side of that then we'll easily be able to get one of the elite WRS. however BP historically does not draft WRs in the first round.

there's supposed to be some good free agent receivers in next years free agency, if they don't resign that is, I think the trifecta will look there first, and if that doesn't work out we'll have another successful draft, I think Patrick Turner has the potential to step up, but potential can only get you so far, based on his progress he determines what kind of moves we make towards WRs during the off season

Are there any "big name" free agents out there? If so, who?

I think this is more true than many would like to admit! IMO this regime is not so focus on the so called "#1" guy. I think their perfectly content with "decent" receivers as long as they can run the ball and play good defense! and those "decent" receivers can catch the ball on Play-Action and so forth! I'm no expert but it seems like there are some games where you can't run you and you don't play well on defense and having the luxury of a so called "#1" guy is absolutely needed!

Bill did say about building from the middle-out, by that statement this next off-season and draft we should see a strong push for an elite WR!

I hope so and that play last Monday did look pretty impressive. Nice thing about Ginn working out is he wouldn't cost us more than we already have. use the picks on a LB or something.

On the contrary by what they've done to build the foundations of the D and O-line IMO it shows that they not only wanna win, but be in a position to continually challenge for a championship! For this reason i didn't think they were going to trade away anything for the bowe, smith or whatever fantasy scenario that was out there!
