Everyone seems to think this is the deepest draft in years. It is widely believed that most people will want to trade down. You can get first round talent in the 2nd round and 2nd round talent in the 3rd, etc... The more picks you have, the more likely to get talent. Should we buck the trend and trade UP? This is the buyers' market for trading up. You should be able to move up several spots this year cheaper than any other year as there are going to be several teams wanting to trade down.

I am all about trading down this year. Not sure there is anyone that I feel is a must have that is within reach of a trade up without giving up the farm. Outside of Ebron I don't see anyone that could be available at #19 that really blows my skirt up. Trade back and get an additional second or third come away with four or five guys in the first three to four rounds that will be starters if not this year then next. Miami is going to need as much young talent working off rookie deals as possible as they will be closing in on Tannehill's second contract.

definetly trade down. We have a team that still has a few holes to fill. The teams that will be trading up are teams like DEN, NE, NO because they are a couple good players away and getting the top talent is all they need. We need depth at positions and couple of guys who can start. More picks the better in Miami's case.

Trade down if we can. This is a deep draft and there will be good value in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I'm all for picking up an extra pick or two if we can. What I don't want to do, however, is trade down for picks next year.

if martin ebron, and evans are not there trade down. but i doubt we will have a trading partner unless bridgewater or someone like that falls

If Martin or Ebron are off the table, then I would prefer to trade down and get an extra pick, even if it is next year. We need at least 2 offensive lineman. I would love to pick up a space-occupying defensive tackle with the 1st or 2nd, if we trade down.

Fluid situation. All depends on who is on the board at 19.

There's going to be some great talent that drops to #19. I agree with Yessir, it's a fluid situation. Mosley, Shazier, Lewan, Martin, Ebron -- a few of those guys could be there when Miami drafts.

if Taylor Lewan is there around 12-13...you know Ross will be thinking about it!!

Depends on who is there just like others are saying, but I feel down a few spots is prudent if you can get an extra third or fourth. The more people drafted = more chances for success especially in those rounds.

I have a feeling because the draft is so deep, teams won't be able to get the kinds of deals for trading down that they did in previous drafts. I think fewer teams than usual will be wanting to trade up, thus decreasing the demand and lowering the price.

There are players worth sitting tight and drafting at 19.....If they are gone trading down is a definite option. I would be opposed to another trade up in a deep draft in area's of great need for us.

I believe the following players might actually be there and are possible for us at 19:

Zach Martin
CJ Mosely
Ryan Shazier

If we don't have a worthy O-lineman or Linebacker I'd rather trade down.
