This draft is deep in a couple of our weakened areas (ie. CB and WR) so would you trade down if you were Parcells/Ireland to a team like the Browns who have 2 picks in the 2nd round

Dolphins get: 4th pick in the 2nd round and the 18th pick in the 2nd round
Browns get: 25th pick in the 1st round

Browns take Brandon Pettigrew (Mangini traded up to get Dustin Keller last year) and Pettigrew is the most complete TE to come out in a decade. Fins pass bc we have two TEs that can play, one being a 24 year old we just traded for in Fasano.

Now the Fins will have FOUR picks in the 2nd round!! That'd be insane in my opinion!

We could draft any four of the following players and I be more than satisfied---

OLB: Clint Sintim, Larry English, Connor Barwin, Michael Johnson, Brian Cushing (ILB option too)
DT: Ron Brace
CB: Sean Smith, Darius Butler (probably doesnt make it this far), Vontae Davis (probably doesn't make it this), Alphonso Smith, DJ Moore, Victor Harris
WR: Kenny Britt, Brian Robiskie, Juaquin Iglesias, Louis Murphy, Ramses Barden
RB (you never know, especially if these guys fall out of the 1st Round): Knowshon Moreno, Chris Wells, Lesean McCoy, Donald Brown
OL: Duke Robinson, Andy Levitre, Kraig Urbik, Herman Johnson

My Ideal draft with this scenario in mind:
ROUND 2:
4th Pick: Sean Smith (starts day 1 opposite Will Allen)
12th Pick: Clint Sintim (his Al Groh/Parcells connection and knowledge of the 3-4 gets him taken here. Nice competition between Sintim, Roth and Wake for starting OLB spot)
18th Pick: Ron Brace (One of only a few true NT prospects in this draft. Will have big impact in his rookie year, splitting time with Ferguson)
24th Pick: Duke Robinson (how this guy falls this far is beyond me. He can start day 1 but worse case scenario for his rookie year, he will add much needed depth)

I feel the Fins find some gems at the WR in the later rounds and via FA as they did last year

There's good value in that trade but I'd have trouble watching the pats draft twice before we got our first pick in. That just me though, I doubt Ireland would have a problem with it.

I am going to be the bad guy here and say I don't like it. Darius Butler is who I think this team needs and wants and you will not get him in the 2nd round. I would be more interested in trading up. Possibly swapping picks with the Eagles #21. I really want Darius Butler.

Id do it as well, but going by the draft value chart we would still owe them the 10th overall pick in the 3rd round.

If they wanted our 3rd then i wouldn't do it.

I hope the Fins do have a chance to trade down in a scenario just like that. That would be great. The more picks the better --especially in the 2nd round.

I like the idea but there is no way the Browns would give up that much to move up to #25. Trade Value chart says we would have to give something back in return, like our third rounder. Now Mangenius is just dumb enough to pull a stunt like that so you could never rule it out.
Sean Smith & Darius Butler would both almost certainly be gone, so going into that the FO would have to have several players of similar or greater value still on the board. But it still would be worth it IMHO
