Heres a trade that might work out better for both the Fins and the Eagles. Send them Lamar Gordon and AJ Feeley for Mike Mcmahon and a 5th rounder. Not only do the Eagles get the RB that they need, but they get a backup QB that already knows their offense and played fairly well in it before.

We get a pretty darn QB, who many said was better than Joey Harrington while at Detriot, and has looked really good in the preseason so far. We also get a fifth rounder to compensate for the one we gave up for Manny Wright.

Im not trying to further anger the Feeley supporters, but he has done nothing but struggle since hes been here- and doesnt look like hes going to be anything more than a backup here anyways. So why not send him back to where he had some success as a 3rd stringer? Not only that, but Mcmahon already lives here in South Florida, so it would work out better for the both of them.

I'm sorry but I don't want to trade Feeley for McMahon.

reasons, well, I don't thnk McMahon is the solution to our QB issue. I feel that we'd be swapping similar players and i don't want to tradey Feeley just to trade him....yet!

Feeley appears to be starting to finally pick up the offense (of course he needs to really step up this next game and take this thing from Gus). In trading similar players (similar only IMO perhaps) we'd actually be taking a step backwards as Mike would simply have to start from scratch in learning the offense and thusly wouldn't be of benefit to us this year.

Of course, If you feel that Mike is leaps and bounds better than AJ from a physical and mental standpoint then I understand your reasoning and based on "that" then I would be all for it....I just have one problem though....I don't think McMahon is an upgrade over Feeley currently.

McMahon and AJ are completely different football players athletically. AJ can't move, whereas Mike can scramble with the best of them. They have similiar arms, unfortunately, it wont happen.

I was so hoping we'd go after Mike this offseason, but we didnt.....and I was sad....

Philadelphia's Front Office is one of the smartest and most successful in NFL in my honest opinion. It would be ignorant to think they would even consider taking back A.J. Feeley not to mention Lamar Gordon for a 5th round pick and Mike McMahon. Lets face it... we all know that we got played as fools when our Front Office made the trade for Feeley. As of now, A.J. Feeley and Lamar have VERY VERY little trade value (if any) and I doubt that they even would give up a 5th round pick for Feeley AND Gordon. Everyone is expecting us to release Lamar Gordon because there is a pretty realistic chance that he may not even make the team, so getting a 5th round (any draft pick) and McMahon for him and AJ is not going to be happening. I don't see any reason whatsoever as to why the Eagles would want Feeley back, they already embarassed us in getting a 2nd round pick for him, they know better. With Buckhalter out for the season again, I could see Philadelphia expressing some interest in Sammy Morris and I do feel that Sammy is a big part of our team (especially on Special Teams), it would be tough to give him up, but if the offer is right, I would be all for it. But I don't see Philadelphia or any other team for that matter giving us anything but garbage for Feeley and Gordon at this time... that's just the way I see it. Feeley will make the team for us by default this year, but he will most likely ALMOST DEFINITELY be released next year because he will be making $3,500,000 next year, and as of now, it doesn't even look like he is the starting QB for us.

Pretty much sums it up.

The same Mike McMahon that was with the Lions? Lmao! Yeah real big upgrade that would be. Quit pulling straws.

wed have to give philly another 2nd rounder juss to take him back

I think it is a good trade for us in the future. But it hard for me to justify the actual loss here...

Miami 3rd Round (2nd OVRL)
Miami 2nd Round (2nd OVRL)

for

M.McMahon
Eagles 5th Round (probably 20+ OVRL)

We really got screwed over no matter what we do.

Yeah but you cant really go by that since the villiage idiot Rick Spielman made those trades.
