Anybody think we should talk to the Browns about trading for WR Braylon Edwards?

Schefter mentioned that the Browns were open to it while talking about the Winslow trade to Tampa.

Attention All Phin Fans:

There will be no trading of picks away in this draft for nobody!
(unless of course, its for a player and another pick later)
After the draft, well we can talk.

Nope  Braylon Edwards has BUTTER fringers - he can't catch a cold

Well, Winslow was traded for a 2nd this year and a 5th next year. I can't imagine they would be able to ask for more for Edwards.

i dont think its a bad idea as im a big fan of this kid but i honestly would be completely surprised if it did....and i wouldnt do more than our late 2nd for it

i would do a 2nd or 3rd and late pick.. he has talent and last year was his only year where he really had drop problems and i think it was due the there inconsistancy at QB (even though a lot of drops were on him, just couldnt get the chemistry down). Remember guys he was a pro bowl WR 2 years ago.

I donno...what about a package deal for S. Rogers and B. Edwards. That could be something. But, it won't happen we are not gonna give up picks. We already released a WR that has hands of stone (D. Hagan).

Braylon Edwards is too inconsistent and Miami didn't take him 3 years ago, why bother now?

Man, We cant get a WR of Edwards talents in round 2 so id give up a second for him all day long. I dont care if he had a bad season last year, thats just what it was, a bad season. This guy can play. I doubt its the kind of move Parcells would do however. If he were going to trade for a wide reciever he would trade for a young up and coming guy for a later pick. Like Miles Austin for a 5th, i wouldnt mind that move.
