According to Armando Salguero's blog in the Miami Herald, the Fins are holding out for a 1st rounder for Jason Taylor. There are 5 interested teams but none who are yet willing to part with a first.
Why not ask for a 2009 1st and a 08 5th rounder for JT? This might accomodate both parties and JT gets to go play for a contender. What do you guys think?

Nah, I want picks today. I'd take a 2nd and 4th over a 5th and 1st (next year).

Ultimately, I dont see us getting a 1st, but I do see us getting a 2nd + 4th/5th.

Lets try to get both of Jax 3rd round picks #71 and #89 and meet in the middle. They get to keep 1st and 2nd rounder and we get two good 3rd round picks

well i say he is still good and raiders want to trade there #1 so lets give them JT for there #1 and we can swap are late 2nd round for there early

after what just happened to the Niners last year when they traded up assuming their first pick this year would be a late pick, no team will do this.

No one would risk giving up a top ten pick for a 34 yr old.
