I don't know if it's just me but i've been a bit disappointed with McMichael and was wondering if maybe a trade is worth looking into by the Fins and possibly drafting someone like Greg Olsen to replace MchMichael.

With the talent available at TE this year, it's doubtful the team would get much out of him. I'd rather bring in a TE to compete with him and see what some competition and the new TE friendly scheme will do to Randy's game for a year. Maybe the market will be better next year.

Peele did a pretty good job when he was in...Maybe he should get more playing time.

great Idea

It's a terrible idea. Where's not going to get a ton for him, and McMichael was great in an Air Coryell offense when Norv Turner was here.

Let me pose this question: what would New England do with players like McMike, CC and Mare? I believe they would send them packing, and replace them with little-known (at the time) and younger players that oddly enough performed just as well or better, for much less money.

If he would be used more in the passing game instead of blocking to make up for the OL defficiencies he could be more productive. Its worth finding out

I'm on board-we got all we're gonna get out of him. TIme to move on. He's a 4th or 5th rounder anyway.

How'd that work out for them this year at WR?

You guys can't be serious about McMichael he has the potential to be a great TE he has shown spectacular ability and light in the past. Its not him, it was our previous coaching staff and bumbling QB's.....he has the ability to be one of the best in the game like a Gates or Gonzales.....and lets not forget who Cam brought into the spot light in SD (Gates) he made him a huge part of the offense. He will deff. put doubts to rest this season with Cam behind the play calling

At least part of McMichael's inability to impress is most certainly on him because he has not brought his A game on a consistent basis. Listen, I'm the guy with Randy in his avatar and his signature. I'm not eager to see him go, but it's clear Cam is going to want some better performance at the position. If Randy can be that guy, he needs to show it quickly.

Just because the Pats do something, doesn't mean we should do it.

He can't show his ability when he is kept inside to block on 20 plays a game and catches two passes......lets not forget that in 2004 he had 73 receptions for 791 yards recieving and 4 TD's with a very mediocre Jay Fiedler and followed the year after wtih 5 TD's.......Cam will see his talent when Miami starts using a TE like he's suppose to be used, in the passing game not just blocking!!!

Lets see what Cam can do with Mcmichael before we trade him off.
