Trade rumor of the week: Denver trades CB Dre' Bly and their 2nd round pick (42nd overall) to Carolina for DE Julius Peppers.


Interesting rumor if there is any validity to it. Peppers is a similar player to JT (albeit 5yrs younger) so this could give a bit of insight into his market value if he is being shopped around.
 
This could possibly go down as the dumbest, most one-sided trade ever, if it did go down at all.

Dre Bly is a bum, and probably the most overrated CB in the league.
 
the reason we wouldnt get as much for JT as Peppers IMO is that peppers is alot younger than JT so they wouldnt offer us that same trade

As a subscriber, I receive newsletters via email from them and I lifted the quote from it. This was the only info on the trade mentioned in the newsletter.

Say no to Dre Bly. He's great when he wants to be, which is about 5 quarters a season.
