i say we tade some defense in order to balance it out..like trade Sam madison for an OL i mean we have will pool..plus madison is too much money..surtain and poole would be good.
 
Madison can't be traded due to the Huge cap hit we would take. If we were to trade a CB(which is very likely) it would be Surtain. His contract is up after the 2005 season and we are already spending huge money on Madison and Howard. Also, we have a future star in Will Poole. A shutdown corner is going to be worth a lot. I mean we could get a 1st rounder and possibly an OL(wouldn't be a star OL though) for Surtain. Bowens will probably retire which will save us money and there is a chance that Seau might also retire.

John Welbourn, Larry Johnson, and a 2nd round pick for Patrick Surtain. welbourn is struggling at tackle in kansas city, you guys could play him at guard, where he's more comfortable.
 
we need to trade surtan for a pick and an OL we really need it...i lve surtain and how he plays...but we have to even this out...maybe trade one of our young ones..like Pope..i know i kow he gunna be really god but it think we can get an OL for him too or maybe a draft pcik

Na, we wouldn't get anything good for Pope. I would rather keep him because he could be really good for us in the future. If we trade a LB, maybe Eddie Moore but I don't know if we would get anything good for him. I am really and I mean really hopeing that we can trade Ricky to Oakland for a 1st rounder. I mean if we can pull of that trade and a Surtain trade we could have 3 1st rounders. Of course we would probably only keep one and trade the other two to stockpile picks. Of course this may be very wishfull thinking.
