School of thought is to go get Flynn, Manning or RG3... What about a second theory.. Surround Moore with as much offensive firepower as possible. Reason being:

-Manning may never be healthy again (of course if he is healthy, sign him and still trade up for Blackmon!)
-Flynn may get franchise tag and to be honest, whether he does or not, I doubt he's a franchise QB.
-Blackmon fits the mold of Packers receivers (then again, Blackmon would fit any team). Awesome WCO fit with huge YAC-ability.

Only realistic scenario of trading up would be if Rams take Kalil at #2, Browns take RG3 at #4, we then trade up with the Bucs at #5 because the Redskins might grab him at #6... Unless of course, Redskins go after Tannehil at #6. Obviously huge assumptions here but if Blackmon makes it to the Bucs at #5, I think Dolphins should pull the trigger and trade up! This draft needs to be all about adding offensive weapons (#2 WR, top-tier TE, and a RT)

Matt Moore will never take us anywhere, we need to get Peyton, trade up for RG3 or pick up Weeden in a trade down.

Blackmon may be really good, but doesn't really fit what Miami needs at WR. Miami should sign a guy like Mario Manningham to be there speed guy to open up the defense. Unless, of course Gates actually shows he belongs. Blackmon is too much like Marshall.

i remember watching blackmon's bowl game and he was demonstrating some wr diva traits early in the game. he eventually went off and showed his talent but could we really have two diva wr's on one team. and maybe i'm wrong about what i saw or maybe it was needed at that point in the game but if not there is no way i would want to trade up for a potential problem.

get peyton and reggie wayne. no need for blackmon.

The problem is there are a ton of good wr in the draft and in FA. Trading up for one isnt the smart idea. I agree we need one but we could just take wright or floyd and keep our other picks.. Or trade down... Or grab a round 2 guy. Or drop a 1st and a contract on wallace .. Ir sign vjack.. Bowe... Braylon edwards.. Manningham... Maybe one of the raiders wr's...

No way -- we have much bigger needs than WR. We'd be better off grabbing Reiff at 8/9 or dropping down a few spots if possible and grabbing one of the top pass rushers.

So do the same thing we've been doing for over a decade with failed results? Sounds like a wonderful idea to me :bobdole:

I have been hoping for RG3, but happy with more Moore..
But after watching some youtube of very good qb's, Im seeing that there is a difference. In how a great qb reads defenses, adjusts on the fly flawlessly, and puts the ball where it needs to be most of the game.
I'm leaving the "Try to do it with Moore" camp and going into the get a great qb area.
