Any feedback from the community on who you think has trade value as the preseason comes to an end? Here are my candidates:

RB: Minor; Gordon
WR: Thompson; Newson
OL: McIntosh; St. Clair
TE: Maybe Lee
DL: Zgonina; Romero;
LB: Moore
DB: Not sure there any?

Your feedback appreciated. P.S. I don't care if you are not Ozzy! LOL :lol:

maybe a rb or wr. definately not a cb or someone out of the secondary. Hope the dolphins don't get crazy and trade a pick in the 06' draft for help in secondary.

I dont think Newson or Minor have any trade value since most know that they will probably be cut... McIntosh and St.Clair shouldnt be traded because we need the depth...

EDIT: ya... Thompson probably has some trade value...

With the depth at RB I think if some injuries to key people on other teams, like us last year, there could be a trade market. Other than that I think every other team knows we will be cutting some dead wood that they can fill there teams with if they really want too. But someone maybe interested in trading for Morris if he keeps playing well and their running back gets hurt. But would we really want to trade him?

any trade involving any of those players brings a 7th round pick at best.

EDIT - maybe a 5th or 6th for Gordon.....maybe

I"d say Gordon has the most trade value, which is not a lot. We may be able to get a conditional 4th or 5th for him. But we'd have to wait until there's an injury and a team gets desperate.

I was actually thinking more about player for player deals like the recent trade...

I was thinking more in line with player for player trades, which aren't that common. One borderline player for another in the same boat on another team. We have a history of that (i.e., Cornell OT; Bedell OG). Getting something back in return. Might be able to get a db who was on the fringe of a deep team. Something like that. And only give up a fringe player to get them without having to go through waivers etc.
