Talk radio here in the Bay Area continues to focus on 49ers taking the BPA at #2 and then possibly trading back into round 1 for a quarterback.

Got me thinking that maybe Miami would be a good trade partner at #22. Obviously, if the player the Dolphins want is there you don't make the trade (Reddick maybe). Certainly the Dolphins could use more picks, though, and maybe the team could get SF's #33 plus the 49ers have two 4th rounders. Is that enough for a 11 spot drop?

Targets at #33 could be:

Jarrad Davis LB -- think he goes sooner.
Obi Melifonwu S
Jordan Willis --- still think he end up in the 1st
Budda Baker S
Quincy Wilson CB
Adoree Jackson CB
Kevin King CB -- would seem like a Dolphin fit
Ryan Anderson LB
Dan Feeney G

I don't know what the trade value chart for that drop would be, but I think I would want at least a 3 and a 4 for that type of move back.

IMO, one of the players Miami wants at 22 will be there. The question is, will they want him badly enough to negate a move down. 33 is a pretty big drop.

i think were gonna have options there @ 22 that will stop us from trading back maybe even trade up

I'd rather move down to the very late first and get a 2, which is not likely. I certainly would not move down that far if it only meant 2 4s. I'd move down for a 3 and a 4 probably if I can't get a 2, but that's really only if everyone that I'm enamored with is gone, and I doubt that happens.

Reddick, Davis, Taco, Willis, Harris or Lamp. One of those guys will be there.

Its not going to happen, but I would love to trade #22 for both of the 49'ers 2nds, #33 and #52. That could really help our team. At #33, we could still get an edge rusher or top notch front 7 player, while still picking up a starter at #52. They wouldn't give up both of those picks for #22, but maybe if we threw in a 5th, who knows. If one of the QB's they covet falls, I think both Cleveland and San Fran would be interested in trading up. Remember, only 1st rounders get that 5th year option, and teams desperate for QB's definitely want that.

#pipedream ... but hey, I'm salivating at getting #33 and #52, so lemme dream a bit please!

The only trade I want would be later on the 1st round. If the value is there to get another pick or two I'd definitely consider it.

I do like what I've seen from Kevin King, but I think his stock shoots up because of the Jones injury.

The draft chart miami draft at 22 it's worth 780.49ers 2nd round pick 34 is worth 560 4th Rd pick 66 is worth 260.

King is versatile too having spent some time at safety. At 6-3 he seems to fit what Miami is looking for.

That could be possible. Having more picks could give Miami the weapons to trade back into round two as well. The team could potentially get a starting linebacker, defensive end and guard in that scenario maybe Davis, Murphy, Feeney or Willis, Anderson, Feeney.

Maybe Miami gives up its #22 and comp #3 and get #33 and #52. That would give the Dolphins three #2's and probably allow the team to draft three immediate starters. Perhaps Miami also gets a late pick from SF.
