Was listening on sirius and on their 2 minute drill they quoted was either Jerry Jones or Wade Phillips, but they were asked how things were looking with a trade up with miami. The response was something along the lines of "it is doubtful that any trade is going to get done". No links or anything because it was on the radio, but take it for what you want =/

Ya, but if they were really thinking about moving up to #1, do you think they would admit right now? It could be a smokescreen.

not saying I ever believed in the rumor, but McFadden running a 4.27 is certainly going to catch Jones' attention.

the only way i would trader 1st pick is to get 2 number one pick from dallas and sent one of them to bengals for anderson. he would be happy with dolphins and he is really young. all i see in him is upside...

This is why Scheftner of NFLN is now saying that Jones is even more 'jonesing' for McFadden....

It dose make a difference, cuzz then every team would know how much to offer Miami for the pick.So Then Dallas would end up having to pay more for the pick.

Dallas will not trade with us if we offer the #1 pick, that is why we gotta get OUT and 1st make a trade with Atlanta or Oakland provided that they don't draft McFadden.

At the # 3 or 4 spot Dallas will be more inclined to trade. The bonus money will be way down as opposed to the #1 pick and they can/will offer less in compensation for the pick, at this spot even just the 2 # 1's and a 2nd will suffice.

Exactly, it doesn't do Dallas any good to admit they would be interested in trading for the #1 pick at this point.

heard the same thing!!! hope it's true!!! the fins can then get Dan Connor, the LB from Penn State and Kenny Phillips, the safety from the U!!! or one of the many first round OT and CBs that will be available...

no way, if we can move up all the way there i rather get other players. Conner came in at 230's range no way hes a BP dude nemore. Someone liek Groves, Harvey, etc etc will be on his eyes rather then somoene small.

with the 22, 28, 32, 57 and 64 picks miami shoudl then trade JT for Denvers 2nd (43rd pick) n thats 6 picks in the first 64 as the 3rd is technically the last pick of hte 2nd due to the NE loss of a pick.

You can do wonders with a draft like that.
