i keep hearing that we going to trade jason taylor to this team and then that team and also seen a rumor on here that parcells said that we had 4 players on the miami dolphins team.. well lets get this stright bill P. isnt getting rid of jason taylor he said he was going to build around him and he said he loved jason taylor. the only way we get rid of JT. is that he wants out of miami then i still see it hard for him to leave because parcells really likes him and IMO jason taylor will be a fin till he retires that is if parcells has anything to do with it .so until i hear parcells say he dont want JT he will be a dolphin till he retires .:err:
 
I think if we can get a good offer for JT we should at least listen....Maybe we could trade JT to an NFC team where he would have a chance to win a SB in the near future, and we in turn could get maybe get a younger guy who can help us for the next ten years. I would hate to see JT or Zach go, but sometimes you have to make tough decisions, and what is in the best interest of the team.

I have never read anything like that.

On any team, anyone other than a franchise QB is expendable. For the right offer anyone can be had, including JT.
 
I honestly believe Jason Taylor wants to go. I thought last year he played with about 50% of his normal heart and effort. I dont care about what stats said, he gave up on many plays, he went through the motions a lot of the time.

Jason Taylor is my favorite phin and it would make me sad to see him gone. But it may be for the best. He wants to win, and we are a long way from winning.

how do you build around a 30 year old DE? i think we will keep him but dont say we are building our team around him. because if we were building a team around him, we wouldnt be changing to a 3-4 where he cant play his original position (DE). he'd have to move to OLB. he would be too small for DE in an 3-4. i know he likes him but he is NOT building the defense around him
 
I gotta say I'll be saddened if he don't retire a Dolphin...
 
Most of the rumors of JT being traded are just that...rumors. To say that the Tuna would not trade him is wrong, provided the compensation was right. I think, given the dearth of talent we have here, that he'd listen to any all takers, but only pull the string if the deal were something special. So I would be mildly surprised but not shocked if he were traded but I don't really think he will actually be moved out...
