Recently, the Falcons gave TJ Duckett to the Redskins for a 3rd rounder...im sorry but thats dumb to give up a 3rd rounder for TJ...if the Falcons can trade Duckett for a 3rd, im sure we can trade a few guys for extra picks...seeing what we got in this years draft in the 7th (Evans/Wright), i wouldnt mind trading Mike Pearson, Seth McKinney, Keith Newman for a 7th each.

On top of that, Mike Boerigter is a FA (green bay WR)...do u think Miami will bring him in??

duckett is the short yardage man. falcons are going to be hurting at rb this year. i guess vick will have to run the ball everyplay because we already know hes a running back playing qb.
 
well the redskins dont really seem to care about draft picks lately... they dont mind dishing em out as their recent history has shown...

Washington def. got the better end of the deal. He could start almost anywhere..evnen heard rumors of the jets wantign to trade for him (tj)..glad that didnt happen....denver getthe pixk...lelie was a 1st, so they lost on that one... i guess we could be happy denver didnt end up with the big brusing back...

That's b/c Dan Snyder is an idiot and just gave a 3rd rd pick for a guy who will be in D.C. for one season.

Yeh..Duckett has never seemed to live up to his potential....and I doubt he will in Washington.
 
i think that trading pearson and mckinneyfor 7th rounders is a very stupid idea why would u trade players who have shown worth for a craphouse pick maybe i would do the keith newman trade but mckinney and pearson are worth deffinantly more than a seventh
 
Denver got a great deal on this trade. Even though AL was a 1st rounder, they were on the brink of losing him, so why not get the most out of this deal. Getting a 3rd round pick is very good for a guy that never really performed.

Duckett was a first and if Dunn hadn't done well he would have been starting. Also Duckett hasn't looked good because he was in the wrong system. Duckett is a down hill runner who has been stuck in a West Coast offense for his whole career. He is gonna tear it up in Washington.
 
I think this is a good trade for both sides.
 
Not only did Washington give up a 3rd round pick, but they swap 1st round picks with Denver if Denver has a better record than Washington .. Which I think will happen since I think Washington sucks
