Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora will undergo season-ending surgery on his left knee, NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting.

Would we consider trading Roth or Holliday if Giants offer a 3rd pick. Just a thought yall..

No, you do not trade either one of them. Roth is finally coming on as a LB and Vonnie seems to have been reborn this season.

They will not offer a 3rd round pick for them, and both are going to be key parts of this upcoming season. Roth may actually have a long term future with this new regime as a LB.

No way. We're ready for this season. I wouldn't even consider Holliday. He's a leader and a solid veteran next to Ferguson. Roth, well, even if he were expandable, who would we replace him with? Charlie Anderson went down and Roth is making progress at the transition.

dude Roth looked awsome last night he dropped into coverage a few time and obviously they didnt game plan towards him or maybe they did. but his bull rush and pass rush ability is dang good.i was at the game ad saw many times when he was flushing the qb out of the pocket or chasing after him.. he just always seems to around the ball especially in the backfield.. his qickness when hes standing up gives him a good advantage over the tackles hes up against... IMO

why would we trade ANYBODY after the game we just had....

god...can we get through ONE week without somebody suggesting a trade...especially a trade that will never happen?

trading players away is one of the reasons why we had a 1-15 season last year....we never have the same people around one year, and that KILLS chemistry...thats one of the biggest problems for young teams lek the Dolphins....CHEMISTRY....if we traded or traded for anyone at this point were shooting ourselves in te foot, cause after the way THE WHOLE TEAM clicked yesterday, you dont want to take away from that. And trading DOES JUST THAT....TAKE AWAY:shakeno:

I dont relish losing alot of games so unless we get an offer we cant refuse we dont need to trade solid players. I would not mind Rod Wright getting a shot to play though

So we're a powerhouse now, with an excess of talent, that can trade away pretty good players for draft picks just for kicks?

No thanks.

HELL NO!!!!! The Giants are the ones who are screwed because of this not us. Tell them we want a first rounder and maybe we can talk. :err:
I just think Roth and Holliday have worked hard to make this team good again. I want them here.

I really do hope this is a turning point for Roth! I'm a Hawkeye fan so of course I'm a Roth homer, but he did look good last night! Next thing, all we need to do is to get Jalen to give up his number so Roth can TRULY be back to form!

Trade Matt Roth? Absolutely not! He's really starting to come into his own as an OLB. He's a big part of our future. Vonnie Holliday on the other hand.... Maybe.

Your dreaming if you really think Roth is going to be solid NFL linebacker.

And if someone offers a third for Roth the boys will take it in a heartbeat.

Roth is a good starting DE in this league, he just doesn't fit this team.
