Ok now ill state right now i am not one of the people who is for trading Ricky Williams but then again i dont run the team. Lets say Williams apeals the not showing up to court thing and wins it and he is still a Dolphin which most possibly could happen, Do you guys believe since the talk was he was on the block that this would lose what value he had as per trade value. Pros are hes a proven back and hes cheap. Cons this could not be the first of many scares for the team who would render his services.I dont know much about Trading value so please fill me in.

If it turns out he just missed a test and he appeals and wins a truthfully dont think it will hurt his trade value much, because teams can still trust he wont fail a test...they just gotta make sure he shows up

so then its better to keep him...imo hes more important to us than to any one else. Players get hurt all the time and if we are in the playoffs and ronnie gets hurt i will feel just that more confident if Williams was their than anyone else

i disagree. this shocked many ppl and probably teams as well so if it goes his way his value went form a 1st to early 2nd to a 3rd im pretty damn sur eof that

Do you not understand whats going on................he just failed his fourth drug test according to many sources......which means he has no trade value at all!!!!!!!!!!!!! hes as good as done and hes done for sure for the next year.......miami will get nothing out of him because no team will trade for a four time drug abuser!!!!!!

you know flame me for this but i think to many people worked to damn hard and you know what i think thier is no way he smoked pot and got caught for it. that guy get drug tested ten times a month and with an nfl salary if i absolutely had to smoke a blunt i would drink the drinks to clear my system daily as a ritual

I dont think his value was ever that high, thats just what we wanted, but I think we were getting a third tops anyway

Sure its shocking but once the dust settles if he didnt fail a test just missed one teams can say ok it was a misunderstanding its not something we have to worry about

he doesnt care at all he knows he can take the drink to block the thc in his system but like he said before after he failed his third one.......he said he knew that he could pass the drug test if he wanted to by drinking the masking agent but he didnt care...........therefore he probably just was stupid again and miami will get nothing out of him cuz noone will trade for him

Whether this thing winds up sticking or not.......I think that his trade value has taken a hit......that the fact that he is just one incedent like this away from probably never playing again has just been thrust into the forefront.

no we cannot trade ricky are you guys crazy he averaged over 4.3 yards a carrie last year had over 700 yards and thats including not playin in the first 4 games and sharing the load with ronnie brown the other thing i noticed is when he did share the load with ronie brown saban played ronnnie more espially if they were winning (ex. against the saints) we want a 1st rounder for him if noone wants to give us that, then forget it ricky is an elite running back and hasnt done no mistakes (in my eyes yet) so why trade him for a 3rd round or 2nd...no-way.....unles we are getting brian calhoun with that 2nd or 3rd round pick
