Okay this game just spews Trap Game. All this talk about playoffs, and Tied in First Place, and the Jets Game in 2 weeks. Plus no mention of our typical December swoon. All you old timers have seen Miami in this position to just fall apart at the seams in December. We also have played down to our competition this year on several occasions. I think Miami wins but again it will be a low scoring close game. Is it me or is it hard to get used to the idea that Miami might be good again? Im struggling with it and just waiting for it all to impload. It is set up, to just blow up in our face. 1 week at a time i guess.
Dont get me wrong though, this season even at 8-8 is above and beyond my wildest expectations and cant wait for what the Big Tuna has instore in the future. Time to live in the NOW and enjoy one of the best turn around seasons any team has ever played out.

With the way San fran has been playing, I seriously doubt the team is taking them lightly . . . they DID just beat the Jets . . . best believe that got the Fins attention.

Still if we HAVE to lose a game . . . this is the one . . . u hate to lose this at home . . . giving us a 4 - 4 record at Dolphins stadium . . . u just don't make the playoffs going .500 at home.

Hey I can take losing if we get outplayed . . . we didn't beat ourselves against New England . . .they played better football that day . . . I can live with that . . . I can't live with lack of execution and mistakes. We do our part, we will be fine.

If you want to classify a game as "trap" I would look at the game against the Chiefs more than the 49ers.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the competition has played up to us?

This team won't implode. Save that for the Cowboys. Even if the Fins lose and don't make the playoffs, this has been the first of many succesful seasons to come.

Seriously stressing the 49ers.....These guys just worry me. Patrick Willis is a beast and he is going to be a problem in the run game tomorrow, Shaun Hill is in what the kids call "beast mode", Mike Singletary is a good coach that has his playing pretty stellar football as a whole. In other words they are HOT right now.

But so are we right now so why am I trippin?

Yeah really .. they haven't seen Ronnie and Ricky in beast mode yet, we're gonna unleash it tomorrow .. I feel it.

My gut feeling is that Miami blows out the 49'ers. The dolphins are due for a big offensive game. I am more worried about the Kansas City game and playing in arrowhead.

I think we the fans are doing all the talk. Davie has been unusually quiet (IE Porter)...

I don't think for a second that the lockerroom is taking anything for granted. I believe this team has plenty of motivation to play hard. The 49ers are playing for pride. i expect them to be a formidble foe. But I believe we are playing for something much larger. Last season is motivation is enough, but couple that with the opportunity to finish first, and win the division.. that my friends in a recipe for focus, discipline and execution.

I would love to be a fly on the wall for the pregame speech!

I think if the Phins blow out the 9er today then the KC game could definately be a trap. I just dont think that happens though, as I dont think we have the ponys to blow out a strong young D like the 9ers yet. This team may have had more talent than we thought, but I think it gets by on HEART more than anything else. Sporano refuses to let these guys rest or give up, and because of that we can win games we might not other wise. This also makes every game a dog fight. We really have to throw everything into each game to come out on top. Hopfully we do that again today. :hi5:

Uh, uh. The trap game was the Rams game. This game is just a perfect game for us to finally blow a team out again, like we did to the Pats the first time we played them. Be real now...no way that the Dolphins are sleeping on the 49ers, trust me.

If we lose, it's because we aren't as good as we think. But in the end, we should not only win, but win BIG this time....

Sparano and the players have been talking about how dangerous the 49ers have been playing lately. They know what they need to do and they're not going to be taking anyone lightly. It's going to be a tough game, but not a trap game.

i think if you call a game a trap enough times that it stops becoming a trap.

next week's is the trap. on the road in a tough stadium in bad weather against a hungry team.
