Travis Henry

I actully thought we would be able to go through this guy without someone suggesting we pick him up. I guess I was wrong. What do you want with Travis Henry? You want us to pay him starter money to be our 3rd string running back? Ugh, nothing personal man, but these threads get annoying in the FA period.

So do you suggest we should go out and pursue Ray Lewis because he is a good middle line backer? You don't sign players just because they are good. The point is we don't need Henry, we have 2 running backs capable of starting already. How do you not see that?

And yes, I can get annoyed at threads because every time any player is dropped, there is a thread suggesting we get him, no matter who the player is.
 
Yeah, it is really annoying that every single player who gets cut gets suggested as a possible pick up on this board.

Henry is a nice back and all, but waaaaayyy too much money for what he would do in Miami, not to mention that he is basically one incident away from getting a year suspension. We have enough of that on this team to deal with already.
 
Henry has always been an excellent featured running back when healthy. But during his career, he has shared time with others and has complained about it. He sort of has a "me-first" wide receiver mentality. That's not a bad thing given his production but in our situation with Ronnie as the acknowledged "man", Travis wouldn't be a good fit.
 
Travis Henry is a very good running back and had a strong year with the Titans. I'm surprised they let him walk but they have got Lendale White waiting in the wings. He'll be too expensive to sign as a backup and I can see him getting a starting job somewhere, knowing our luck it'll be with the jets!
 
If we can get Travis at a good price I would take him. Who knows what will happen if Ricky comes back.. We all know that having Ricky on the team is like riding a roller coaster.
