Trent Green To Retire

Veteran NFL quarterback Trent Green has opted to retire, telling Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com that it was time to move on after dealing with a series of serious concussions in recent years.
Green, 38, was cut by the St. Louis Rams during the offseason after backing up Marc Bulger last season and starting one game.

He might not have had a great time in Miami but I hope everything works out for Trent. I sometimes wonder if he wouldn't have won a Superbowl with the Rams himself, had it not been for the injury which let Kurt Warner take over the starting role. Trent Green could be a pretty effective QB in that sort of offence himself. If the Chiefs had an even passable defence during Green's best years there, they would have been so much better a team. Ah well, not much he can do about it now.
