Trent Green was drafted # 222 out of 224 in the 1993 NFL Draft. (Back then, there were 8 rounds)

8th Round Dwayne Gordon- ILB New Hampshire

The 1st pick that year was Drew Bledsoe and other notables included: Jerome Bettis (#10 overall) Willie Roaf (#8) Michael Strahan (#40) Will Shields (#74) John Lynch (#82) Mark Brunell (#118)

The QB's that year are as follows:

Bledsoe is clearly the leader of the QB class that year. Brunell has better career stats than Green, but has also played in considerably more games.... Green has had better individual seasons. Close call between those two.

That is pretty funny, I was thinking that same exact thing when I saw he was the 26th pick in the 8th round. Helluva steal.

Wow! we've sucked at drafting for a long time huh!?
