Don't get me wrong Hoops DVR has saved the marriage, it's just that I'm a slave to it.
I never thought about the radio or my Verizon phone but we go with a group of people/kids and I don't want to be rude. Plus we have a great time, we load up the flasks, bring some hot chocolate and schnapps in the thermos and generally have a great time. I actually always take the day after Halloween off of work because it's my favorite holiday and I tend to get pretty ****ty.
Candy from Halloween used to be so important to be I have even taught my son how to get more candy than the kids he's trick or treating with. The key is to always be the last kid at the door when in a group. Second you have to empty out your Halloween bucket every time it gets to being close to half full. This way the people giving away candy always notice that he has less candy than the other kids he is with and always give him a few extra pieces. What can I say, Dad needs his Kit-Kat/Twix fix!
Looks like I will be getting that candy fix watching a DVR'd game. At least I can FF the ****ty parts and go back to watch them later if need be.
