Trick Plays

Is it just me or do the Dolphins have it in their play book that they need to run the end around. Seems like they run it every Sunday and teams sem to be on to this one.

Both of them today were poorly called and ruined one drive while nearly ruining another(although Gus made sure we wouldn't score on that drive)

it pretty much goes how the announcers said today, you can't run gadget plays on defences that are well coached and disciplined, i like how the offense has been opened up

My only thougt is that if they work they can open up the playbook for other plays. I think defenses now know that we will run that play every game and we could use it as a fake end around or reverse and then (gasp) have Gus go deep to a tight end or receiver.

i am so sick of the reverse... although once we faked a reverse to ricky and the play fooled some people...

i say we have marty booker throw more, or maybe a fleeflicker

exactly. the purpose of the reverse is to keep the defense from overpursuing and it has worked. i think every team now knows to to not overpursue or they will get burned.

so, job done. and its helping the run game, imo. time to scale it back. mission accomplished. move on

The RB doesn't have to throw on a fleaflicker, he tosses it back to the QB after a handoff.

it happpens to the best of us
