The tropical disturbance has been upgraded to a tropical depression (#14) and most likely will reach TS status within 24 hours.
The first advisories are always shaky until some recon flights have provided more accurate data.
The current track is expected to go over western Cuba and then just around the southern tip of FL, over the north western Bahamas into the Atlantic.
The track is rather fast and (at this point) should not effect the game. BUT, if a recon flight detects a stronger system this afternoon (which means it is deeper) it is more subject to upper level currents and steering forces and the system could move much slower.
