Maybe... if the end of FA no one has signed him and he will be cheap... sure.
Can never hurt to have someone that knows the ins-and-outs of your rival. Especially one that knows the ins and outs of Offense and Defense...

Troy Brown would be a good addition b/c he is a genuine team player. I think part of the reason we are not even looking at him is we don't have the money to go beyond a minimum contract.
We have only about $1 million under the cap. We need even MORE than that to sign our rookies. If they sign a guy to a minimum deal, it doesn't eat into that, b/c he just goes on the roster as one of the top 51 players.
But, we don't have any bucks left to really sign anyone unless we trade Surtain or someone else reworks something.
