IT seems like he can be had in the 5th round...does one bad game really drop you that much?.. i seen his interview on NFL live a couple of minutes ago and he said growing up he was a browns fan.... no suprise... but he said that his favorite QB was DAN!!!!! and that has mad him somewhat of a dolphin fan also.. just thought it was interesting

I see no reason whatsoever why he'd dropping so much. Sure he's 5'11" and may have character issues. But that's it!

Did you not watch the BCS Championship game against Florida?? Look at what happened to him when he played against a fast defense. He looked like a deer caught in headlights....

What are the character issues?

NFL teams haven't forgotten about Troy Smith's off-the-field troubles at Ohio State.

Troy Smith, QB, Ohio State
Authorities charged Smith with disorderly conduct for his part in a scuffle outside his dorm on Nov. 20, 2003. In December 2004, Ohio State suspended him for the Alamo Bowl and the 2005 opener for accepting $500 from a booster. In fairness, Smith has shown a great deal of maturity in the past two years, but that doesn't mean the Heisman Trophy winner's past won't be a factor on draft weekend.

yeah i know hes short... but the reason im asking is because the only game ive seen him play was in the BCS bowl game and that was pretty ugly.. but he had some great stats...

hes 6'1 isnt he ???? and the character issues were as a freshmen and he and jim tressell said that he has grown up A LOT.

There was some rumors about how he wasn't well liked by teammates and some stuff he did in the past.

It is amazing how they put these guys under a microscope...Guess it is a big investment. Must be rough on the candidates.

I still can't believe they let that nonsense about Johnson and those guys trying pot....Will be the last time a prospect is honest with those guys...
