Answers the question either true or false IYO...

1) Ronnie Brown starts week 1 against Denver.

2) Travis Daniels and/or Channing Crowder emerge as ROTY candidates.

3) The offensive line will struggle again this year.

4) The Dolphins will sweep the Bills.

5) Zach Thomas is about to play in his last year in Miami.

TRUE

2) Travis Daniels and/or Channing Crowder emerge as ROTY candidates.
I think Daniels will at least be a candidate since he will at least be nickle back. so

TRUE

3) The offensive line will struggle again this year.
TRUE Even improved they will struggle.

4) The Dolphins will sweep the Bills.
TRUE I will NEVER predict the Dolphins losing to the Bills.

5) Zach Thomas is about to play in his last year in Miami.
FALSE

False. I think he's too far behind in learning the offense. I think Sammy Morris starts but Ronnie gets arounrd 15-20 touches.

50/50 I think if Channing starts he gets some defensive rookie of the year votes. I don't know about Daniels though...although I think he will be solid. Channing could be a monster though.

3) The offensive line will struggle again this year.

False. I think by the end of the season, after getting some cohesion, they are thought of as a top 10 unit...Houck is that good.

4) The Dolphins will sweep the Bills.

False. I think we split them. Each team winning at home.

5) Zach Thomas is about to play in his last year in Miami.

False. He retires a Dolphin and he is'nt retiring yet.

your line wont be as bad as last season, but it wont be "average" eather.

True - Ronnie starts. Gordon sounds like he will be a pizza delivery guy in a few weeks.
Morris, although he is not terrible and saban seems to like him, has no future
with this team other than the occasional 3rd down

True - I hope. I am probably in the miniority but I thought Crowder looked a little
slower than I thought he was againts the Jags/Bears. I think he has a world
of potential though. Jury is still out on Daniels.

True - The O-line is a mess. Every time we seem to sign a guy who played well with
other teams they come here and suck. I think the O-line will be the downfall
of the team in '05.

False - The Bills look pretty nasty defensively again this year. Only way we sweep
them is if Losman really does suck and we can stack up to stop their run.
Then maybe we can win 6-3 in Buffalo and 7-3 home.

False - Oh Zach. Even though Chester and Bowens are not the same nimble
bohemaths that once protected you from blocks. I think you still have that
fire for the game and will be able to keep playing well despite physicl shortcomings ala Brian Cox

True- Ricky wont and Gordon doesnt seem to be doing very great
False- they may do OK but not ROTY material... dont get me wrong i love them
False- they will pan out trust me
False - one at the best... we have too many issues this season
False- i say he has a couple more years left in the tank.. and i dont see him playing anywhere else other than miami

All they have to do is start to be considered for Rookie of the Year. If Daniels comes in, doesn't get burned a lot and get 2 to 3 interceptions he will be considered. Will he win, probably not, but the question was considered.

1) True – he got to camp with over 4 weeks to prepare for that game, plenty of time. Maybe a bigger factor in this is how bad Lamar Gordon has looked this preseason…..is there really another option??

2) False – I’m not gonna say that this COULDN’T happen, but I don’t think that it will. I’d say that if one did emerge, it’d be Daniels over Crowder. If he can come up with 6-7 picks, who knows. I think Derrick Johnson will win that award, with Antrel Rolle and Odell Thurman being top candidates.

3) False – I don’t think that they’ll become world-beaters or anything….but they won’t be struggling like last year either. Middle of the road unit who won’t get talked about much, positively or negatively.

4) False – a split is perfectly reasonable, but a sweep is unlikely.

5) True – I can’t seem to shake the feeling that this is in fact his last year.

But most important........this is my 1,000th post!!! :beerbang:
