Barring something more ridiculous from Allen or Henry tonight, he has to win it right? Will this help shut the “bust” talk across the solar system?

the 1st question - the answer is yes hands down. The 2nd 1 - No - but I don't think 1 game will. Ilike Tua - and like where he's going - but there are still questions about who he will become obviously. I think bust has always been a strong word - at least for me - but anyone that says that will probably still say that and just point to the 1st half of this game - doesn't mean it's right obviously.

Until Tua makes every single deep throw with the perfect depth and throws 50+ yard passes throwing across his body and off his back-foot he will ALWAYS be a bust in the haters' eyes.

So no, there will always be people doubting and questioning Tua's ability no matter how many games he wins and no matter how clutch he is. Just embrace it because it honestly just makes it more fun.

I was asking the same thing a bit ago. How can they pick anybody else this week other than Tua. Shouldn’t even be up for discussion
Right even if Henry goes off for 200 and 3 TDs or Allen 5 TDs and 400+ I mean, a 28 unanswered point 4Q comeback - it should be unanimous. Didn’t someone post that hadn’t happened in the last 700+ tries?

1) His one quarter of amazing play should earn him that honor.

2) No, a lot of things including two busted coverages in a row had to happen for it all to come together in the end.

The first one was such a bad throw it's an INT if the defender is looking for the ball and not chasing Hill. He still played like dog **** for 2 quarters and mediocre for the 3rd.

One great quarter doesn't erase a career of mediocrity and poor decisions. If he plays like the first half the rest of the year not a single person will care about his one amazing quarter.

I don't care if I'm labeled as a hater, that's the reality. One amazing quarter doesnt = career.

The reason I'm not sold is that defenses aren't going to just give up basically 2 free TD bombs every week. Eventually he's going to have to make all the throws and I still don't believe he can.

I'm thrilled we won, no it doesn't mean he's instantly amazing. It hopefully means he's turning a corner, but if the recipe for his success is for corners to just stand there while Hill runs by that isn't going to happen consistently.

Take those two busted coverage plays away and he still had a great game overall. You're definitely not looking at this from some objective point of view

I don't care if he gets it or not... Haters gonna hate but the damage is done my friend. I know this game is going to give Tua the confidence he was lacking. I think this could really change the dynamic of how he plays the game now that he is more comfortable slinging the rock at this level.
