Barring something more ridiculous from Allen or Henry tonight, he has to win it right? Will this help shut the “bust” talk across the solar system?
Right even if Henry goes off for 200 and 3 TDs or Allen 5 TDs and 400+ I mean, a 28 unanswered point 4Q comeback - it should be unanimous. Didn’t someone post that hadn’t happened in the last 700+ tries?I was asking the same thing a bit ago. How can they pick anybody else this week other than Tua. Shouldn’t even be up for discussion

1) His one quarter of amazing play should earn him that honor.
2) No, a lot of things including two busted coverages in a row had to happen for it all to come together in the end.
The first one was such a bad throw it's an INT if the defender is looking for the ball and not chasing Hill. He still played like dog **** for 2 quarters and mediocre for the 3rd.
One great quarter doesn't erase a career of mediocrity and poor decisions. If he plays like the first half the rest of the year not a single person will care about his one amazing quarter.
I don't care if I'm labeled as a hater, that's the reality. One amazing quarter doesnt = career.
The reason I'm not sold is that defenses aren't going to just give up basically 2 free TD bombs every week. Eventually he's going to have to make all the throws and I still don't believe he can.
I'm thrilled we won, no it doesn't mean he's instantly amazing. It hopefully means he's turning a corner, but if the recipe for his success is for corners to just stand there while Hill runs by that isn't going to happen consistently.
Take those two busted coverage plays away and he still had a great game overall. You're definitely not looking at this from some objective point of view1) His one quarter of amazing play should earn him that honor.
