Tua: Interested Teams?

I imagine he has been humiliated and pride hurt. He will re dedicate himself. See if he can turn it around. With new team. He was really good a few years ago on loaded team. Best qb we had since Marino. Most success we had in back to back years since fielder Not an opinion. That’s a fact

If he isn’t costing team 50 million a year and he figures out his issues . Not sure if is laziness or injury or what. But he wasn’t same guy. He can be playoff qb with right team around him. But it makes a huge difference if you are not paying him tons of money. When you give him that contract. You need Josh Allen results.

I remember tannehill getting killed here. He went and had threee playoff seasons. It could happen to Tua.

I don’t get the hate and anger that I seen from this board for the guy. He gave us the two best years this miserable pathetic franchise has had in a while. It’s not like we play winning ball in Miami minus the Tua years. Maybe it’s the contract. Maybe it’s cause he had so many hard core fans. And now the people who were sick of him are like a bomb going off.

I always had that feeling for Philbin or cam Cameron. But not tua or McDaniel. I am ready to move on from them . But I think we had worse players and coaches.

I guess some posters thought the gase and Philbin years were better. Idk.
Tua comes with a bunch of huge red flags. His concussions could happen at any time. He's one hit away from being out of football forever. Mentally he's very rich now and totally changed his attitude about the game. People are mad at Tua because he took a ton of our money and mailed it in this season. There's a ton of awful tape on him. He has a very huge hip problem that has robbed him of his arm strength and his once famous accuracy. His arm is shot and there's no way to bring it back. He also can't function in cold or wet weather and if his first read is covered it's panic time. Finally he can't run the ball at all or make plays off script. I don't see any team in the NFL stupid enough to buy into a washed up Tua, even Miami benched him. He'll retire and play with his money. That's all he wants to do imo. He's checked out since he got paid. BTW, paying him so much money is the biggest mistake in our franchies history and will set us back for years.

Tua is 8-0 against the NY Jets in his career, they'll need someone as a stop-gap to whatever young QB they pick in either 2026 or 2027.

Tua beating us at Hard Rock next year as a member of the NY Jets, boy that would be fun...

Which teams, in your view, would be interested (mostly) in signing Tua when he is released?

Questions: can we do a trade in this case? I do not know if a trade is an option for us. Can he be traded or will he just be released--if that is that way it unfolds? Also, can we trade-up in the draft by offering Tua in a deal? Again, I'm not very familiar with business side of things.

THNX!
Hey AI bot, do you not skim through the rest of the threads that go into depth about each scenario ON THIS SITE, that your creator programmed you to litter???

Your programmer really needs to update you

I agree with some of this and disagree with a lot. Thanks for your sharing your opinion!

The good news is I think a few teams could be interested. The bad news is, not at his salary. Maybe if Miami eats $100mm.

BSQ made some valid points, but I agree with you about not understanding the hatred. I wish Tua well, be it with us, another team or retirement.

ya, I said some I agree with some for sure. I just don't understand the hatred either especially since miami has been a losing franchise since 2002. We sucked before tua. We improved a little with him by making playoffs back to back years. Again that is a fact they can not deny. Not opinion. Now we suck again. This is nothing new. I was more mad at the philbin years than this.

I never claimed to always be right! Far from it! You are still a loyal fan of Tua's and you are certainly entitled to be. It wasn't too long ago that I loved him myself. When McDaniel first installed the new offense we all got a ton of thrills from Tua hitting Tyreek and Waddle all over the field. Good days to be a Dolphin fan. Then the damn NFL changed the rules about motion. Screw Roger Goodel and his hatred of the Dolphins!!

If multiple teams made us offers for Tua, I wouldn't go with the one who offered us the most, I would go with the one that would take him the fastest.

Oh I didn't say you claimed that. I just agreed with some of what you said and some I didn't But I totally respect what you said and appreciate your view point.

Honestly I am not a loyal fan of tua. I want miami to win. I supported henne, tannehill, tua etc.

I will say I do have a soft spot in my heart for tua and mcdaniel because I was going through a tough time with the loss of a dog and miami making the playoffs two years in a row and giving me some happy moments were good distractions.
It is just something that no other dolphins team coach or qb had done since wanny with fielder. I have to give them props for that. So that is probably where I come off as defending him.

I think I just come to understand that we are one of the worst franchises in the nfl. I use to make excuses for it but now I just realize that is how it has been for a very long time. I feel like 2022-23 were breaks from the losing so I appreciate it. I expect the losing to continue.
I probably jaded with miami and nfl. Watching the steeler raven game I lived bet the game because it was so predicitable to me.

**** him

He ain’t even got his word or his balls to go on

He a fraud that ripped this team off and set us back big time, his laziness affects and will continue to affect our team in a negative, all because he’s an overweight lazy bum

Karma is coming Tia, when you sign that deal you have an obligation to this team this fanbase and this community

Douchebag

Isn’t it dope that he wants a fresh start?
