He's from the future, we beat the bills ;)

Wins are what matter.

Tua clearly made plays necessary to win the game.

Let's see how he responds this week.

He keeps showing flashes, than suddenly he becomes average. Whether it's drops, play calls, or line.

A big game against Buffalo will go a long way to quieting many.

Probably not.

For me, looking at the whole context of the game, and nuance, Tua was not even close to being an issue in this game for me.

1 bad throw really. That's it. Then he comes back with a clutch critical strike to Parker for 14 yards which was huge.
if anything that was a good sign. It showed he can shake it off and not be fazed by a mistake and deliver.

The number of plays has nothing to do with the type of plays you are capable of making.

Wilson year one was manipulating the pocket and creating plays not every QB can make.

Also part of that was just philosophy. Its only in the last year or two Pete has allowed Wilson to be like other "Franchise" guys, and he stills holds back sometimes. If they had that same team, while I'm sure he would throw more than 15 times now, it wouldn't be 30 or 40.
And rg3 was making highlight plays while Drew Brees his first few seasons wasn't doing anything highlight worthy. Manipulating the pocket and plays on pure talent doesn't mean much of what the qb can become if not consistent and can be maintained when asked to pass more. Let's not forget, Jay Cutler made great passes and showed flashes throughout his career, especially early in his career. But look at him. He always stayed inconsistent despite flashing great plays early on and throughout his career. Just because he showed flashes doesn't mean the coaches trusted his reading the offense or development to be where he'd be consistent enough if more was asked and possibly learning flaws exposed,

Not only him. It showed the coaching staff also trusted him enough as well.
Alot deferrent then last year

But thats the point. PPl would day Brady and Montana are greater qbs than marino despite marino's better talent. Herbert has better arm than tua, but so did marino to montana and look how things went
The only difference between Marino,Montana and brady is rings...
