I can’t understand why people think Tua is small. When he’s standing next other players he doesn’t look that small in comparison. He definitely doesn’t have a slight frame. He’s solid as hell. Yeah, he’s not Josh Allen but he’s plenty tall enough and stout enough.

Watching Tua in this spells out why him and Flo didn't get along. Tua seems to be a bit of an introvert and not the 'Rah-Rah, let's win one for the gipper' kind of guy, and that's what Flo wanted out of him. In one of the takes he mentions stuttering when having to give speeches, something Flo required the players to do to become a captain. You can't force people to be someone they're not. I think McDaniel just letting Tua be Tua is one of the main reasons we're seeing his confidence shining through on the field.
