I'm not sure if this really means anything but it's still good to hear
Basically how I feel. But I thought it was worth pointing out based on the number of threads on when we should start him.

We could be getting bad news instead. These are the standard moves that are made when a player is progressing normally.

Honestly I don’t think it means much unless it’s justification for them to the fan base for not playing him or something.

wbich seems highly unlikely at least the fan base part. If he was active week 1 and he was and he was the 2 deep he’s healthy.

had fitz gone down he was gonna play and have to potentially take contact and they knew that so...

imo nothing to see here

Hey, remember way back in 2020 when Russian bots got hooked on nicotine and started trolling football Web sites for clicks?

I will not feel completely comfortable until he gets hit, gets landed on and slides on the hip. If he bounces up and doesn't land on the injury report after those hits then I will be at peace....until his next hit.

We always hear about a quarterback prospect able to make “all the throws”, but equally to be productive at this level he also has to be able to take “all the hits”. I would leave it to the team doctors and experts on if Tua is ready, and then the coaches to protect him.

For all we know Flo may have been using Tua's hip as an excuse to ease him into the starting role and try to stave off the media onslaught of why he's not starting. This is a step closer to being the starter IMO...maybe they'll start increasing his reps in practice over the next couple of weeks. The more picks Fitz throws the more Tua's timeline gets accelerated.

it’s going to be Tua time if Fitz has another 3 pick game.

This may sound weird, but at least in my head, now that he’s on our team, we’re not gonna be the “Miami Dolphins”, until he’s starting under center, and I CANT FREAKIN WAIT!!!!!

Im Just so tired of losing..

I thought we had decided that all players receiving ongoing treatment were listed that way?

You guys can joke about how insignificant this is. And I won't disagree that it could easily be completely meaningless.

But I'm dealing with this injury through my brother, who is recovering from the exact same brutal injury. We are talking about an injury where 2-10% of cases can involve necrosis of the femur. It takes so much force to dislocate your hip that it is a rare football injury, and most cases are from high impact motor vehicle accidents.

Every day my family hopes for the smallest of positive news. Cleared to drive. Cleared to go swimming. Icreased range of movement...ect. All while understanding the reality that a major setback can be right around the corner.

So maybe some of it comes from the personal situation I'm dealing with. If I go a week with no negative news on Tua's hip, I'm happy. But when I hear ANY positive news on Tua's progress, it doesn't feel like absolutely nothing to me.
