Tua Stat

any time he throws a pick i know he is going to come back better. looked like hollins came of the route a little early. but no doubt he should have thrown it to waddle on the deep dig. waddle may have been gone.
at the end of the day, what he is doing with the line he has and 1 real weapon im and very happy he is our qb.
the other skill guys just dont get seperation.

I do find it fascinating he has to throw that one "wtf" pass before locking it in. I'm not sure what to make of it honestly. There has to be that step to move past it, but it just keeps lingering. We cannot afford mistakes like that in close games with good opponents.

Sounds like mental toughness to me. Next game, if we stall on the first drive of the 2nd half, 4th and long lets say, throw it deep! It's either a 1st down conversion, an int which will act like a punt and trigger this super-tua mode, or worst case, incomplete and looking dumb.

They need to make that a true stat, because Tua is king when it comes to leading a TD drive after a boneheaded turnover.

The INT looked like it sailed on him IMO. There was a moment the pass to Mack was open but was way behind him.

Middle deep is the thing to work on this offseason

This is a “thing” and has been for some time now (we knew it). I’m glad someone pulled the stats. It’s pretty impressive the way the kid responds.

It didn’t sail. He made a bad decision to go for Hollins instead of Waddle where the soft spot in the D was. He’s still developing. What’s important is he learns from it and continues to get up off of the mat and lead great drives after the bad plays.
