Tua: what’s a “successful” return?

Win or lose is irrelevant to me. Just look good playing the position. Play good and you will be good.

The Dolphins win and Tua doesn’t suffer any further injuries to his ribs.

Set up question. Funny how the Tua mafia poses this question. If Tua lights it up he's a hero. If Tua has a bad game "he's developing, we've got to give him more time." So I guess the answer is if and only if Tua gets us into the playoffs this year he's successful. Otherwise he's a bust.

That’s interesting considering I basically said the exact opposite in my initial post.

I don't want to see Tua until he's absolutely 100% able to take big hits. Although I'm not a Tua fan, I realize that you can't properly evaluate him until Miami has a decent o-line, running game, and OC. And, that's not going to happen until Grier and Flores are replaced.

The dude is 7-3 as a starter and still gets ragged on
I'll give you 6-3 or 7-4. I'm not giving you this 7-3 **** where you count the Raider game he started and Fitz won but don't count the Bills game he started and we lost. Pathetic.

How can we judge Tua with our coaches? He doesn't get the freedom to audible out of crappy play calls so he may be handcuffed to bubble screens and quick slants.

To answer the question: Find the open man, make quick reads and quick decisions. Pick up 3rd downs and avoid turnovers. Not sure about numbers but execute multiple drives with points.

😆
We are going up against the jags, urban legend meyer's jags 😆
There defense is awful, and there vets are underperformed. So are ours.

I fully expect any qb leading the Fins to a win simply based on talent and superior coaching regardless of how inept Flo appears thus far, we are hitting the prevent defense portion of the schedule.

I think Tua will be successful Sunday, as he is a proven winner on every team he has played for and losing is no option for him. I'm hoping he thinks this way also.

I completely recognize nobody here is going to change camps regardless of what he does Sunday morning, but for the Tua fans, and doubters/haters, what does he have to do against JAX to give you hope for the season and the future?

For me, first and foremost, simply surviving would be a nice start. I can’t imagine the staff is going to put him in positions to be hit hard repeatedly, so assuming the offense goes fast and uses a lot of quick throws, I’d love to see a line of 225-250 yards and 2 TDs in his return. We’d obviously need the run game to have a pulse to win in that case, but it’s a team game and I think they’ll protect him and produce … at least I hope they will.

What say you?
a win, and staying healthy

A win helps. Truth is i admit he is hamstrung by the play calling but he can at least look the part. Just mistake free football but it seems like we have a defensive problem also so that doesn't help.
