Tua’s quickness, anticipation, and placement is his super power.

In other words, a wishy washy, spineless, wuss. 😂 who likes to putt from the rough.

Am joking. Great video. 👍

That was great.

I love that these ex-QBs JT O'Sullivn and Josh McCown are doing these types of breakdowns.

Credit to Trent Dilfer for all his post-career involvement as well.

Mina Kines thinks Herbert is better. lol

Go back and watch the Kurt Warner break downs on Tua. He was already a big fan of Tua last year in film breakdowns. Always noting how Tua was making good reads, but the O as a whole wasn't helping him much at all.

Plus it is fun to always look back at some of the Kurt vs Chris Simms twitter battles. Who should we trust the SB winning QB or this guy (see video) we it comes to breaking down plays.

Tua has been a 1 percenter for all of his Football playing career except for the last 2 seasons... There's nothing surprising to me, its what he does...

Actually considering the head coach he had to play for and the offensive system the incompetent offensive staff installed those first 2 years, he was likely one of the few QB’s in the entire league who could have had a winning record with that coaching staff.

I though that was implied in the way I shaped my post but... Pretty much...

She is obviously wrong this year. Tua has been better in every stat.

Yes, and it's fine to tell she's wrong. Anything beyond that, and what are you really doing? Taking out your frustration on a football nerd who covers 32 teams and has a bad take regarding your team/QB is pretty myopic and childish. Unlike Steven Ruiz and Benjamin Solak, she doesn't pretend to be an expert on the details of the game. And, if you don't understand the details of Tua's game, you're going to miss what makes him great/separates him from other QB's. Ruiz and Solak pretend to know more than they do. That's the **** that bothers me, because it's spreading ignorance from someone who has "watched the tape."

But, I still wouldn't treat them poorly. Criticize their takes? Sure. Extra bs? No, be an adult.

But, this video and the video from QB school are probably the best explanations of the ways Tua is playing on a different plane.

As McCown noted, this looks sustainable, because Tua is seeing the field so well and so quickly, and he's playing to his strengths. I can't think of an example of a QB who reached an elite level of processing/understanding/timing and then just lost it. Long as he's able to stay healthy, and he's doing his part by getting the ball out quick, he's going to be one of the best QB's in the league.
