Just got back from camp, and it was a good one. There were a couple of heated battles in the trenches tonight, and a nice little fight broke out. Both sides went at it for about what seemed like 30 seconds before the coaches broke it up. The crowd was loving it!!....

Anyways, RB Ronnie Brown is getting his feet wet, and working hard. He's got some very quick speed bursts out in the open. I can't wait to see him hit an opening in the line once the season starts. Him and Ricky together is going to be one scary backfield....

The QB's were all about even tonight IMO. They were up and down through out the seesion. Feeley wasn't that bad at all, who know's maybe he's hearing things about his future. WR C. Chambers is looking really good, as is TE R. McMike. He made a great one handed catch tonight that got a good loud cheer. He's awesome....

The defense was doing more secondary drills, and I think Saban spent most of his time focused on what's going on back there. I saw good coverage tonight...

The OL is still working hard, and there was a second standoff in tonights session when C - Ephraim got into it with DE M. Roth I think. Looks like the battles are really heating up out there, and I hope these guys keep up the hard work. It's good to see them playing with some fire. For the most part, a decent, very entertaining night at the fights....

My buddy with ESPN got it on video, the fight, I am going to see if I can get it from him, and upload it somehow. It was great, I think one of the players took his helmet off, and hit someone over the head with it. I know JT jumped in and through an O-lineman to the ground, it was great, nice fire. I believe Roth started one altercation tonight too.
From what I saw, Ricky looked fast, Ronnie didn't get too much work. They lined Ronnie up on the Outside Wide. Gilmore had a great catch deep over the middie, Mann caught everything that came his way, including a very high pass only he could get too, over 2 DB's, he's a great looking player. The QB's weren't impressive at all. David Boston was not out on the field, and word from inside said he was given the day off, and he was in the training room through practice, it was Saban and staff's call. D-Thomp had some drops. Randy had a sweet one handed my hand is a baseball mit catch. Also the new punter looked pretty good out there, and they had him in as a holder as well. They worked on Fake Punts and Fake FG's. Kendall Newson dropped a punt in the return game, and Saban got on him, and spent a few mintues with him, Wes Welker caught everything Punt wise, and has been used in there 2nd team receiver sets. That's what I saw, hope it helps.
 
haha i remember the one i went to. matt walters, from none other than... THE U! got into it with some o-lineman, i dont remember.
