Receiver Derek Hagan has benefited from Parcells’ presence as well. Hagan dropped too many passes during his first two NFL seasons. Now, his hands are among the surest on the team, thanks to Parcells.

Huh?

Huh?

He had a good practice. Therefore, he has the best hands on the team.

Bill is NOT the coach he should keep his *** of the field, thats not his job.

Uhh... I don't know about you, but if I'm a football player and there is a GREAT former coach on the field, I would take everything he has to say to heart and not complain about it one bit. WHY IN THE WORLD wouldn't you want Parcells telling our players what to do, how to gain leverage, what not to do, how to get a little more separation, etc? His wisdom will do nothing but better our players. Just because he's not the head coach doesn't mean that the coaches and the players can't seek out his advice. Honestly, at this point in his career, if Parcells feels like walking around with nothing but a floatie hanging around his waist and a cowboy hat on his head, I'm pretty sure he could do that without any objection. HE'S BILL PARCELLS.

Great spot for BP. He gets a boatload of $$. Goes to the track whenever he wants. And gets to do his thing while putting Sparano/Ireland in the spotlight.

Exactly .. I was just thinking the same thing. He'll always be around the game. Come in.. give a few pointers... go play golf.. go to the track.. lose a bucks.. come back.. give a few pointers....

When Bill was headcoach he always had former coaches, players and GM's at his training camp doing the same thing, Evaluating talent and one on one coaching. I love it and I'm sure Sparano loves it too. Especially with such a young team with very few veterans.

I could see your point if I didn't think Parcell's and Sparano were on the same page.

 Hilarious image.

seriously, we all knew parcells would still have heavy input. SPARANO knew it when he took the job.
