I dont believe Bill Parcells will go after a big name receiver in the off-season nor do I think he will draft one in the early rounds. If you guys remember from his days in Dallas, he was very against bringing in Terrel Owens. Bill Parcells believes in having a monster offensive line and controlling the game with the run and having an efficient quarterback that doesnt make mistakes(ala Chad Pennington). I think he might sign a guy or two but I think he is contempt with a devolping Ted Ginn, a Wes Welker Jr in Camarillo, and "glue hands" in devone bess.

I don't think he will sign a big name WR either and rightfully so. Camarillo has been Welker V2 and is becoming one of my favorite players. Ted Ginn has the talent, and with his speed, is always a threat. Bess has great hands. Armstrong from our Practice Squad impressed me. And I feel Brandon London will be a star in this league down the road. He certainly is physically gifted with size and speed. And i feel the talent is there. So I think Parcells might back away from a big name WR if he feels the same way about London as I do. Personally, I can see us drafting a WR in either the 3rd or 2nd round. Lots of good prospects this year.

i dont care what anyone says GC would be a beast at slot, and we need a big time Big reciever ala boldin or else ginn will always be double teamed and ineffective

I don't care who we bring as long as we win games. even if we get mickey mouse from disney orlando I don't care as long as he helps us win. plus, I here mickey runs good routes lol.

he'll sign one or two big names, and continue to cut the back half of roster...

i do not want a big name WR, definatly not through trade, only in FA, even then i think he spends the big money on a CB, and possibly a DT.

hopefully we can steal from Dallas again on some trades...

i think we draft a tall, sure handed WR in the late 2nd or 3rd..
we use our first two picks on DB and OL.

I'd love to get beast Center in Alex Mack or Max Unger in the 2nd round if either slip that far.. Maybe even the replacement for Jason Ferguson, if there is a true NT with high value...

i like doing mock drafts, but SIP impressed me so much with this draft that i think we will be as talented as Dallas, but with wayyy better coaches..

Not necessarily a bad thing. The Broncos had safety help on Ginn all day, that caused Camarillo to have a big game. Brandon London is that big receiver you seek, just wait and see.

Parcells might not sign a big NAME WR ... but keep an eye on Lavernous Coles from the NY JETS!!! he has a connection to pennington and would be the type of F/A that would bring veteran leadership to the young WR corp in miami ... as well as leadership to the overall offense...

Yeah but TO has always been a distraction every where he has been. It's only been in the laast year or so that TO has toned it down. He was always criticizing his Qb's and killing any team chemistry. His teams could have had had he learned to keep more to himself.

I don't know. London might be that big sure handed guy. Not that I'm judging from one catch in the endzone, where he was out of bounds, but that was a nice grab.

This just in, Parcells and company offered to a trade for recently acquired WR Roy Williams, we offered to take him off their hands for Dallas’s 2nd round pick. Unfortunately they turned us down flat so we countered by asking for BOTH Williams and their second round pick in exchange for our 6th rounder.

They are now considering the offer.

The Wideouts seem pretty good this year considering the short period of time Parcells and CO. had in developing a team. London seems like a great kid with great talent. (Didn't he almost have a TD against the Broncs but he was pushed out of bounds??) Ginn seems to be great Deep Threat and occupies a safty up top to help the other wideouts get into the game.

Bess and Cam have great hands and a great sense for where the ball is thrown. As long as Miami keeps utilizing the talent we have in each game, the offense can be pretty darn good, but they HAVE to execute. Pennington seemed to miss some open guys these past two weeks so hopefully he can stay on target against the 31st ranked pass defensesive team in teh league.

I can see the Trifecta drafting a WR with either one of our 2nd rd picks or 3rd rd and on,but Parcells has drafted a WR in the 1st rd before...aka...Keyshawn Johnson in the 1st when he was coaching the Jets...you guys do remember that right?

look, i think our WR's are playing amazing ball, i remember a stat that said we were the only team not to drop a pass, that was like week 5... i dont see dropped passes, fasnos muffed a few, but it's been middle of the field in double coverage....

i really like our WR corp, but we have to draft a tall speedy sure handed WR in the 2nd or 3rd round... they're so much talent there, and then there is a drop off in the 4th and 5th rounds...

next season i'd like to have ginn, camarillo, bess, london, and someone like Kenny Britt/ Greg Carr/Demetrius Byrd... and maybe sign a steller STeamer, that can play WR well too.
if we signed a player like Coles for 3 mil a year... then we dont have to draft someone.. we can continue to develop london and bess...
but we still need a no.1 guy... maybe it's london... i dunno, seems a little slow to me...

I think we are one true stud all around WR from having a very nice corps.

I think Ginn can be a solid #2 with deep speed that you can put in the slot at times to get a favorable matchup.

I think Camarillo is a WINNER. Dude is just a gamer. Every team needs a guy like that at WR. He would be perfect to play in the slot on 3rd and med or short.

Bess has shown some promise and can be a good player for us. He and London can fill out the roster at this position nicely. Good depth with that group.

We just need that bonafied do it all type of receiver like Boldin who can beat you deep, beat you over the middle for that tough chain moving catch, run block, and of course make plays after the catch with speed and brute strength. Thats the kind of player we need to make a helluva set of receivers. I say we draft a guy so that whenever Henne takes over, whether that be in 1, 2, or 3 more seasons, he will have that weapon available.
