Turley waived

The guy failed a physical...what makes anyone think he would pass one for us...NO Absolutely NO:shakeno: :shakeno:

Absolutely NOT. Turley is done. He was down to 268 lbs and the only way the Rams could keep him was to convert to a DL. No thanks!

I still have a special place in my heart for turley and the jet helmet "toss" he was my hero for a week :bravo:

I don't think looking at Turley would be an absolutely terrible move, if they got him just to put him on IR for a year, get back into shape and rehab his herniated disc and gain some much-needed weight in an effort to become the player at RT that he use to be.

However, overall, I would have to say that making any kind of commitment to Turley would not be the best move we could make. We should probably stay away, it is not the right time, nor is it the right guy.

This is a player who is pretty much done due to his chronic back injury. In addition he has aspirations to become a DL.The guy is grasping for straws.Anything to keep himself in the NFL.

He might be worth a gamble at the minimum but its a stretch.

Well, aren't we looking for DL depth?

He failed his physical, if any team picks him, he's not going to pass his physical. He's around 240lbs and can't even play Tackle anymore and has stated that he would want to play DE. His career is over and he's most likely going to retire.

ESPN's John Clayton reported that Turley now weighs less than 250 pounds. He's done.
