As bad as our offense sucks and as bad as our luck has been, we had the momentum when Edwards completely misplayed that INT chance. As the commentators said, it nearly hit him in the right shoulder pad and he didn't even see it. It was a LOB, not a bullet pass. He also had full momentum going the other way. I paused and went back and watched it later and nobody would have touched him until he was into Pitt territory at the earliest. The game was 6-3 at that point. Then, they made the big 3rd down conversion on the next play, and we all know the rest of the story.
Do I have a point? Yes. In EVERY close game, no matter which team is really better, there is 1 instance when you can actually WIN the game. Sometimes it happens in the 1st quarter, sometimes not. This was last nights instance. What concerns me is that he didn't play the ball. He showed extremely poor judgement.
