Hey All,

Im an avid reader here, although don't post to often.

After reading these posts today about how Henne sucks, not franchise QB material, ect, ect. I'm sick to my stomoch! The poor guy hasn't game-planned for one game yet, and already so many doubters.

This is whats wrong with our franchise!!! It's us the fans. In order for a young QB to do well, confidence is a key factor!! If a young QB knows his fans are doubting him, you think this has no effect on him? It DOES!! And thats all we ever do, is doubt every young QB that comes in here, and compare him to the beloved Marino. If Henne knows we have his back, and that he is OUR QB that will succeed, than he will!

I live in NJ and unfortunatly am surrounded by JETS fans. In the offseason they all talked about how Sanchez is there QB, and while he may have rookie mistakes they have trust in him to become that Franchise QB! They arent comparing him to Namath or getting ready to run him out of town if he faulters in the begginning.

My point is lets change this attitude of Dolphins Nation, and stand behind our QB and his development. No more who are we drafting next year or what veteran should we pick up. Positive deviance is important to a QB and a franchise and it starts with us. So lets cheer on Henne, and let him know hes our QB! If he knows this there's less pressure, and he will succeed!!!

thought i was the only one with this mentality, i think the same way with penny and ginn. a lot of fin fans really need a reality check

its a shame that a positive thread has been started and only two people have commented. I agree with you completely, Henne is our QB now, and we need to be behind him 100%, but most posters here think we are playing Madden and any QB is available and better. But yes it is time to change the negativity and give the kid a shot!!!

A young QB doesn't give a rats butt about what we think, he only cares about the people in control of his career think and his teammates. The fans over reacting, whinning and blow poopies out the wind hole only makes this excellent web site harder and harder to continue to come back to only to have to read their bogus mush.

If Henne puts up 300yds 3td against Buffalo, it will be just as bad with all the Henne is the next great one threads but then countered how he missed Bess open in the endzone so he should be cut. The same posters write the same garbage in as many different angles as they can.

This all has zero to do with the franchise being where it is, we're in transition to becoming a really good football team and patience is key in these next couple of years.

I used to hope that if the fanbase could only send enough positive vibes to a particular player (like the QB) it would make him play in the game better. Negative vibes don't help very much either most of the time. Booing and other negative stuff at the game isn't productive. It embarrasses the whole team. They need to know when they messed up but not embarrass the hell out of them. I think it messed up the psyche of past #1 draft picks like Joey Harrington with the Lions in his first few years.

I think pressuring the coaches to get the maximum out of the players probably helps somewhat. That's why they get paid the big bucks you know. Motivating and training those players to their highest possible levels. The coaches might have sports psychologist experts to help advise them in how to motivate each player in the optimal way.

Some players actually respond better to negative stuff ... the player wants to "silence the critics and make fools out of them" and so forth. Others respond to the positive stuff. Every player is different. The coaches are supposed to know what to do for each guy. I hear that Parcells, in particular, is good at finding out the things that will motivate each player the best. At 0-3, we could sure use his help. Anything he thinks can be useful would be appreciated.

So he got one interception big freakin whoop! The guy looked solid passing and if Ginn would've caught those balls (honestly why is that lump of crap still starting over Hartline...) They need to bench Ginn this next game really. I tried to remain negative, but the guy just sucks. Put in Hartline every down at least he catches the damn ball!

Yeah let's all get together and click our heels, "there's no place like winning, there's no place like winning...". LOL

If we as fans just think positive were bound to rub off our positive vibe on the team and they'll we'll suddenly be able to win the SuperBowl.

Alot of those balls to Ginn were uncatchable or very difficult. I dont like the way Ginn has played this year, but bench him? Are you stupid? Hes just not a #1 receiver so far, fact is Miami does not have a #1 reciever on the roster yet.
