After the blowout loss to AZ, the Fins were 0-2 and had lost 20 of their last 21. On the plane ride home the discussed the installing the Wildcat formation.
During his Monday press conference, a scruffy-looking Sparano stated that he did not go to sleep the night before, but instead he spent the night analyzing the game film. He assured the media although it wasn't looking good at the present moment, things would get better.
The following week, the wildcat was born and the Fins blew out the Patsies... Since then, the team has gone 11-3.
I am very impressed how Sparano has taken ownership of this team and led by example... We are very lucky to have him and he has shown improvement throughout the year.
Looks like the AZ loss was a blessing in disguise
