The Fins D played a solid game but the offense just kept having bad to's every time they had the ball in good field position which is a killer in football.

only 9 turnovers the last two games... Ricky & Merling had great games. Hartline is an idiot if he thinks he can get away with two hand shoves on the db's. i thought he was supposed to be a football genius.

yeah, absolutely. you can't turn the ball over at that rate. what was up with Fasano today?

It's hard to hold on to the ball when the tackler plants his helmet on it. The Falcons had superb tackling today. Every fumble had a black helmet on the ball.

Good thread, you can't win many football games allowing the opposition to start in your own territory all the time.

We played poorly on offense today, but we said that many times last year and still won. The only difference today was the turnovers. We held Turner in check and Ryan aswell, the turnovers killed us period.

We also stunk against the Jets last year and that seemed to still work out alright!

I agree completely. I see all the "sky is falling" folks are out in force...but we actually played pretty well. Our defense played outstanding and kept us in the game.

The story of this game was the turnovers...they killed us.

Some people may not like the offense, but it is what it is...we are a dink and dunk ball control offense. Our run game actually looked pretty damn good today.

The one real weak point I saw today was the pass protection...sorry all you Jake Long fans...but he sucked today...

fasano, pennington & the o-line sucked. porter disappeared. hard to say about the receivers. even so the defense played more than well enough to win without all those turnovers.

Is that supposed to be a good thing?

Porter had some nice plays - he planted Turner once for sure. JT had some real nice plays - this is good b/c with both of them on the field i dont care who gets his name called more they are both commanding attention and both played well today. I'm proud of our whole defense.

penny did not have a great game but i dont friggen understand why the heck so many ppl on this board are jumping to their penny sucks and we need a WR b.s. when it is so clear to any football/player/coach/educated fan that the O Line was horrible esp in pass protection and that is a huge reason we lost this game coupled of course with turnovers - turnovers when we were in good posistion to score.
