There hasn't been a leak during this entire search. Miami isn't going to say a damn thing until its final.

I'm pretty sure the Dolphins are in financial negotiations with Fisher. I'm pretty sure that's already leaked. Omar Kelly even said it in one of his tweet replies.

But otherwise I think the leaks are coming from people that know Fisher, some of them not even in Fisher's inner circle, just spouting a bunch of crap. Dave Hyde recently alluded to as much, saying that most of the media reports you hear out there are sourced from one blowhard who isn't even in Fisher's inner circle anymore.
 
I agree. My guess is that Miami is negotiating final terms of which, I am sure, will address some if not all authority over personnel.
 
You have to give him credit though. That is one of the most innovative ways to say, "I have no clue what is going on", that we have seen a reporter use so far during this whole process.
 
Fisher is in negotiations for sure. With who, I'm not sure.. but the fact St. Louis is announcing that they are holding more interviews say a lot.

Nothing will be announced until an agreement in principle is reached.

This isn't about a normal hire. I can see fisher being here a long time, and both Ross, and Fisher to be very clear on those parameters.
 
CK...If true, have you heard anything about the rumor that if he comes to the Phins he will also be VP of Football Ops. and have final say over Ireland?
